Murder is a crime... Some take that further and believe all killing is bad. They'll attend vigil's outside a prison protesting the carrying out of a death sentence. That doesn't make them right. Go ahead and tell anyone affected by 9/11 that bin Laden was murdered... lol

I'm not disagreeing it was a good idea to kill Osama. (I don't think WAR is a good idea, but thats a different topic all together). He was the leader of Al Qaeda and was clearly a disturbed man. But when people publicize it like DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD HUZZAHHH!! its like .eh. I mean, good for us. But its not a party. It was needed, and should not be considered revenge. my .02

its messed up to say "I dont like war". because you are inffering that the people who carry out war are doing it becuase they enjoy it.
its like saying "I dont like throwing up". Fact is pretty much no body likes throwing up. But its a necessary process that must exist.
the day prisons are not needed anymore is the day war will not be needed anymore.
The problem is Humanity is so fluid with new people being born and coming into the world all the time. Therefore you will always have war because of all the new blood coming into the world and all the old blood dieing off. its impossible to end war becuase of this. because we have no long term control because as we die off we are replaced by things and people we have no control over. We are just slaves to human nature. Until humans evolve there will always be war.
therefore, there will always be a necessity for good people to fight kill and die for what it right

And Xrtnfx, I stood proud at my friends funeral last year after him being blown up in a roadside bomb in Afghan only for NL to withdraw it's troops a month or so later. Death is horrid no matter how you look at it and to who it visits. I don't know if Bin Laden has any children, but if so I am sure they only looked at their father in that way, as a father (a human being), not as a terrorist.
I am certainly not a Goon, and certainly no fan of terrorism, but then I am according to your goverment and my own, "a convicted criminal" purely because I grow a plant. Now who's side am I on now?
