fdd has given me two infractions (two I richly deserved) and then reversed them without my prompting. His recent frustrated post in this thread isn't just because of this particular thread but due to months of bickering and backbiting about his modship. He's doing the best he can under the circumstances. Give him a break folks. Moderating a forum is thankless and enemy gaining work.
I've had my run-ins with him but to be completely truthful it's always been because of my big fat mouth/fingers. You won't ever see me bitching about Fdd again. He takes a lot of shit from a lot of people.

I just want to know how this,
is POSSIBLY an infractionable offense! I've PM'd FDD and apologized, I was fanning the flames. But that ISN'T against the rules. No where on this entire site is that stated. I sincerely that me an FDD can put this ridiculousness behind us. It's very unbearable. I beg you.

Yes, it would be so nice to put it behind us and bring back the Toke'n'Talk that was enjoyed by many...
But of course, that would mean that a few members who act like grade school children would have to stop acting like that.
However, that's a very doubtful possibility, unless... hopefully FDD will come back and ban the ones who instigate all this crap.
For all of those that mistakenly think FDD is bad, just be lucky you don't have me as a moderator
You know that "Just sayin'" is indeed fanning the flames, instigating... it's not good for the community, and it's not the best showing of an adult-like mentality.

I'd be directly involved as one of the flames. I just have incredibly important literal business with member of this forum. My account is to important. The fact that people admit that they aren't ADULTS, and can't HANDLE arguments, is completely pathetic. We have to agree that we're adults when we sign up but it means nothing? Ridiculous.

I guess I don't see those kinds of posts where they admit to it... but I agree that's something that needs to be worked on.
I think mods should be able to use logic and common sense, and ban anyone who exhibits child-like maturity... of course that leaves a lot of possibilities for wrongly banned users as some grown ups may not yet be quite "grown up".
However, I'm of the mindset where if you act like a child in terms of respecting other members, or just general immaturity, you should be gone whether you're 15 or 50.

I've admitted to things that weren't true... everyone has... I'm saying age is not enough to go by, rules need to be enacted according to maturity as well, this will get rid of a lot of troublesome people on these forums.
