looking pukka mate. the set up you want next sounds good too- 1000w ey? blimey heat is a trouble for me at 400w and im about to switch to 600w for my next grow and slightly concerned about heat.
on a side note, that guide is by TDooda, look him up, he's good and has a nice grow on at the minute. he spent AGES putting that guide together from scottyballs journal and it is so good for the first time waterfarm/scrogger. good on him I say!

Thanks otter, and yeah 1000w does sound good. I'm a little worried about the heat as well, but if I step up in size I'll be introducing A/C as well, so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm about to head to work but I'll look TDood up when I get home. Thanks for the info.

If I had the space I'd be looking for 1000s as well man, seeing what can happen under 400w in a waterfarm I can't even imagine what will come out of a 1000w! my cabinet would be fit to bursting!

Didn't take the digi cam tonight, so only got one pic from a shitty camera phone. She's crystalizing(sp?) up very nicely now. The smell is outrageousssss! I can't resist pinching a bud and smelling my fingers, which sounds very weird I know haha. Doesn't seem like it'll be too long now....Looking like I'll be ending up with a LOT of popcorn bud, as some of the buds aren't filling out as nicely as I'd hoped...but like I said, hopefully I'll have strength in numbers. The actual top of the plant is growing a really nice sized bud...I guess because its the actual top?

I cut down my clones tonight day 56. I started to have balls form but it was too late for em to fill with seeds or pop so I chopped. Wear gloves and have a couple pairs of garden snips. I didn't wear gloves and my fingers turned black from all the finger hash and residue.

Getting close to chop time, though I've yet to notice any of the hairs turning, so I guess I've got about a week or so left. Time to start checking trichs with a magnifying glass I suppose.
She is a sticky fucking mess, every time I touch a leaf/bud section my fingers are hard to pull apart if I close them, so I imagine trimming will be a bitch. Already picked up some latex gloves, and a few pairs of scissors.. Here are most of the pics.


Then here are my two favorite pictures...Covered the light up with the reflector as best I could so I could use the flash to make the buds show up. Reminds me of ScottyBalls pics right before harvest, though not as nice.

Looking good!! All my hairs were orange and trichs were clearish amber so I chopped. Inspect them tho close the balls were forming on the underside of buds close to stalk and stem

Will give it a look next time I stop by, hopefully there's nothing of that sort going on. Been reading about 2 days of complete darkness before harvest to swell the buds up, anybody have any firsthand knowledge on the subject? And I've also been reading about flushing vs not flushing the final week. Apparently it's better to not flush, and just cure properly, as taking away the nutrients from the plant during its last week can be very stressful/harmful to the plant in such an important time. Anyone care to shed some light on either subject?

That is one fine looking grow Raylan, and yeh your right those last pics are nice, very scotty balls esque. Think you have done a super job my friend, considering you had to move your shit half way through... and with time am sure the scrog will come down to a fine art.

Hey bud looking amazing how long do you think you have left, I have noticed a few hairs starting to turn but this is going to sound stupid but I how do you know when they are ready?! I am hoping they are going to fill out a bit because they dont look massive but as a few people have said that they are really dense so have to wait and see! Bet you cant wait to get harvesting, I know i cant!!!

They will start to have a amber glow to em. From seed I chopped at 60. From cline I chopped at 54.

Anyone have an idea as to why the random guy that commented twice last nights comments are gone? As well as the one I posted asking him what he meant? I can see him deleting his comments, but why is mine gone? Sketchy...
Anyways, went by tonight and thought the res was empty because I couldn't see any water dripping from the ring. Go to fill it up, and as I start to pour it in I noticed that it was still about halfway full...Disassembled the pumping column to find that the very bottom section of the plastic tubing was seriously clogged...Cleaned it out, hooked it all back up and it starting dripping immediately. I hope it wasn't clogged for too long, I haven't been by since Sunday to fill it, so assuming it clogged immediately that would be 2 full days without any water flowing. :/ I couldn't notice anything wrong with her, so hopefully it wasn't a huge deal. At first I couldn't figure out what was wrong, and was worried that I'd have to chop her early...though the thought wasn't THAT terrible haha.
Starting to see pistils going orange here and there, I'd say by Sunday she's getting the chop. Today is day 51, so that would make it 56 days, or 8 weeks total flowering time.
