Im a Hoyt man myself my brother shoots a bowtech though their great bows.In today's market i don't know if any bow is much better than any other bow it's just a matter of preference Hoyt was first new bow i ever bought so i have stuck with them.I shoot a Hoyt Alphaburner though.

Nice buck is that a muley i noticed the split G-2 on right side.We don't have muley's out here where im at.But we grow some big whitetails my best buck is at my dad's i have a pic on phone not sure how to get it on here though.Im goin be there later today i will take camera.

best of luck though bro in hunting and growing....tristynhawk

All you big hunters walk into the bush naked and come out with a deer....then I'll call you a hunter....no sport in killing an animal with a weapon.....Nope wrestle it to the ground and snap its neck.....If you can do that I'll call you a hunter Until then you are just bullies killing for fun
even cave men threw spears at em bro.. gotta eat.

think that cow they made your burger from was just wrestled to the ground and neck snapped.

c'mon bro...tristynhawk

How long does it take you from start to actually tracking one down and gutting it?
well you always try to make a vital shot

i like to wait at least an hour even if i know it's a good hit if im worried about the shot i have went home came back next morning to track it

but as for field dressing one it doesn't take long 10-15 min's dragging one out is what takes the longest unless landowner allows four-wheelers on his property but i love dragging out a mature by his horns...lol part of the game i suppose

i don't have to track mine down.. head shots with the bow they drop like a sack of taters.. most of the time they don't even step out there tracks... that buck there of mine was a head shot at 50yrds. right threw the tear duct and out the side of his neck. he walked 10ft and bellyed up..

I like the idea of bow hunting, but a wooden bow, not some silly fanged modern contraption with pulleys and wheels. The instant hunting stops being about food though and i'd happily see a bullet go through the hunters head, what's the difference. That's right human life means everything and animals life means nothing. We're also animals..

Bow's are cool though :)

Take some responsibility for your own protein consumption - just because you didn't see that bucket of KFC die does not mean it didn't happen. If you don't like hunting, then don't - but you shouldn't hack on people legally obtaining FOOD just because you would rather not see/hear about it.
Prior to being wrapped in cellophane in the grocery store, your summer time bbq steak & brats were penned up in some feed lot unable to move. Now that sounds healthy. :dunce:
