thats the whole thing if ya got time I find pacing it out is the best way to go but if you have to change it quick I find it is best to do it like a bandaid quick and in one go switching it around by 4 or 5 hours a day will likely cause a hermification (or in the case of one strain it goes into flower for a week... weird strain)

thanks for the valuable input guys!!!!! I have decided that I am going to do it quick like a band-aid!!! so Tuesday night my lights will go out and not come on again until Wednesday night at 10:00pm. the older plants will have no problem with this and the re-flower blueberry has been through so much already whats a little more!! and if the young diesel hermies then i have lots of seeds!!!!!! i just need to remember to take out the AK so she is ready for Thursday night!!

yea, that's me to!!! up all night!!!! plus it is going to make my lights on/off temperature delta at a perfect 10 degrees! this is the main reason.

lights on@ night was good for me for less heater&avoid peak hours for cost.but i work real early in the am,so feeding 12 lil ladys at lights on@9pm,@work by 330am,not my gig! ill do lights on in day time,or 7pm on.something like that.

i love working with 8pm on and off at 8am & now i have some outside that im covering up at 8pm and uncovering @ 8am didnt want them to go from flower and back to vegg

I am doing 10am on 10pm off Actually it is 11 to 11 now because the time sprung forward here a week after I started 12/12 in the flower room.

I figured i would get them flipped around then i can slowly fine tune it if it's to late for me. plus it's gonna be whatever works out for the best temps... I have a green light to work in the dark hours.

i like the bleached tops too stoney! i think they look pretty cool. i remember posting on a thread a while back.. it was an albino plant.. alotta the leaves had spots on it that were completely white... and u shoulda saw the buds!! the buds looked awesome!! wish i could find the thread.. =/ lookin 4ward to this comin thursday man!!

Not yet CD. The transition is gonna happen tonight!!! at 2300 hours tonight the lights will go out then they won't be on again until Wednesday night at 2200 hours!!! i know it sounds silly but I'm kind of excited!!

i think the only change you'll notice is a build up of resin due to the extra dark hours

I probably won't even notice that. i don't think the diesel could even get any frostier!!! she is like snow white!!! this weeks chop will be my AK-47. she is burned and not very appealing... once i trim off the little bit a leaves left it will make for some nice porn shots!!!! seems small but she had a tough time with the colder temps i had at night... things are looking much better now and i shouldn't have this problem ever again.

Those are really cool!! it's odd how only some of the one plant is white.... i wonder if it affects the taste or potnency... thanks for sharing those pics!!!!

thanks bro!! ya know i was just shopping for a new strain and i was giving ace of spades a serious consideration.... I'll be anxious to see how it grows for the first 4-5 weeks!!!

My lights came back on 20 minutes ago... so my day to night flip is finished and since the lights were on I had to snap a sneak peek at what is in store for next week.....

Thanks Homer.... tomorrow is the first of my dollar tree hat plants!!! it's actually the second one that went in the flower cabinet.... but the first to come out!!!! I'm not so proud that I burned the hell out of her with nutes... but once i cut the dead leaves it will look and smoke just like any other bud!!!

I just started using nutes about 8-10 weeks ago. before that i would just grow in fortified organic soil. I still grow organic but i did start using FF beastie bloomz and Humbolts Ginormous. I am using them both at the moment on different plants to see which one i like the best.... so far i like the ginormous the best. so that is the reason my plants look all burnt.. a noob at the nutrients, but i got them all under control now and after next week i won't have any more burned ones. the ones that are burnt aren't going to be considered when i choose the nute i like the best. I only get between 20-30 grams a plant and I wanted 7-10 grams more. that is why i started to use the nutes. so far i am happy with the results.
