Who's Gonna Win the NBA Finals This Year?

you turd ..i posted no video..read the article..it is current players taking and making or missing the last shot of a game..kobe falls into the the league average and below carmelo and many others ..there are 30 or so guys currently more effecient then kobe on the last shot of the game..kobe's refusal to pass hurts his team...and if perkins does not get hurt last year ..lakers lose //the lakers were like 16-12 last year in the post season...gasol bynum odom the roster is loaded. like i said durant and westbrook are taking down the west this year.
LIKE I SAID, how are you going to base Kobe's career this year, since you said 'current' players & I read that 'blog' you call an article months ago. You do realize anyone can write a blog an make it sound like someone is better/worse then they are. Here, I will show you:

"Corso is so smart when it comes to NBA, in fact... he has been watching since I was nothing more than a jizz-baby..."

See, that entire little blog entry was false... yet, I can easily make it facts by writing it... uh, wait, it still makes it false. So your going to base Kobe's last shot attempts amongst active players currently, when Kobe is over the peak of his career? Like I already said, you might as well sum up Jordan's career as a Wizard, your doing the same exact thing. I remember reading an article in the paper that Jordan was no longer leading in anything he once did as a Wizard... so I guess he isn't top 10 because he didn't end his career with the stats of someone that is 25-years old? Like I said, you HAVEN'T been watching NBA as long as you claim, because your STILL using articles/stats as arguments, because that's all you know/read. If you knew NBA you'd know in Kobe's prime he was considered the premier, lockdown player at the end of games & to this day is referred to as the BEST CLOSER TO EVER ENTER A GAME, EVER. Did you catch that, HE WAS, nobody is saying he STILL IS. An guess what, I can care less if he was or still is, as long as he once was, that's all that matters, everyone get's old & starts declining... it's going to happen to Rose, Wade, James, just as it did Magic, Bird, Jordan... so what makes Kobe any different? Why are you acting like he should still be playing like a 25-year old?

I guess every single sports professional analyst such as Van Gundy, Reggie Miller, Chuck, Webber, Kenny Smith, & co. are wrong when they say Kobe is the best in the clutch. I guess all of those professionals, getting paid more money per-minute then you will ever get the chance to see in your pathetic lifetime, I guess they're opinions are wrong & the John Doe (you) who doesn't get paid, who never played NBA, who doesn't know as much... is right? I can't believe there is people out there who still think they can fool a REAL NBA fan with they're stats & BS. I mean, fuck, if you ever watched a God Damned game, even this year... you'd of surly heard the commentators mention at least 3-4 times in the 4th quarter of close LA games that Kobe is the man to put the rock in his hand. Why else do they say that? Do they say that because they think he sucks in the clutch? Or is it because he has hit more game winning shots the anyone in the league, including Jordan?

I guess the dude that holds the most winning shots in a game isn't the most clutch? You forgot to dig up that stat or fact in your homework research... this is why inexperienced fans such as yourself need to stop relying on an NBA dictionary for your knowledge, it doesn't work that way, you actually have to see the game. Lakers would have never beat Boston if Perkins didn't go down... who cares, HE DID GO DOWN! That's part of the game, it's a SPORT, if you lose a player that's part of the SPORT. LA was in that series without Bynum & we can see how effective Bynum is when he is healthy, so who says that Boston would have even made it to game 7 if Bynum played? Again... before you go to Google & search Bynums stats because that's what you do... bare in mind, Bynum is a player that doesn't put up the best numbers but his mere presence makes the team better & play better. Bynum is a crucial piece of property to the LA franchise which is why they never traded him. So if BYNUM wasn't injured then maybe Boston would have never gone 7... so don't give me the WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED. Nobody ever cares about WHAT IF.

What if you were straight? Who cares, because your not... same goes with the LA/Boston series... it happened, it's over, can't go back.

Like I said, don't play this game with me, this isn't even me getting started, haven't even scratched the surface. I can do this all day & all night & I guarantee you, there won't be ONE TIME in this entire conversation (because it's hardly an argument when it's this easy) not once will you get an upper hand on me. In life, those who are wrong never win, so... I suggest you takes life's advice.

I love the Sheen comment, just goes to show how I'm getting under your skin with such simple technique... called facts.
Guess what.... that was reply #1 for you... guess what else... I'm STILL WINNING! =)

It appears, based off of this reply, no mention of anything, says you quit. Very smart on your part. Really... most idiots would of continued to get harassed & beat down. =)

I assume I got under your skin because who else replies like you? People who are mad. Right? So, my assumption is justified. Power shifted to East? Damned, you make it SO DAMNED EASY to make you look like a fool. You do realize there is about 3 premier teams in the East, THREE. That's not even 10% of the East. Give me 8 teams in the East that are threats? I can give you 8 teams in the West easily that can put up a fight against any East team.

The 4th place seeded East team has a worse record then the 8th seeded in the West. There was an article this month, since you LOVE articles & it explained how the East is actually WEAKER then recent years. It even went on to compare how 14 of the 15 Westeern teams had a better .500 rating then 14 of 15 East teams. That means ONE FUCKING TEAM in the East (& I believe it was Chicago) haad a better .500 record then the East. ONE TEAM OUT OF FIFTEEN. Don't tell me the power shifted to the East that's just you not knowing NBA again.

...Fuck dude, seriously, watch just ONE GAME this season & I guarantee you... without a doubt, one of the commentators will reassure you that the West holds the power & Kobe is top 10. Then, you can come back to this thread an be like, 'oh shit, I am an idiot LaKapitone.' because, frankly... you are.

East > West < LMAO!
Suddenly the East has Chicago, Miami, Boston & they're the powerhouse? Fucking kid is as stupid as a infant when it comes to NBA. If basketball isn't the #1 sport in your 'land' & it's obvious it isn't... then don't talk/preach about it like you know it. Because you really don't.

TOP SEEDS IN WEST:
01. SA
02. LA
03. DAL
04. OK
05. DEN
06. POR
07. NO
08. MEM - .561 record for the season.

TOP SEEDS IN EAST:
01. CHI
02. BOS
03. MIA
04. ORL
05. ATL - .537 record for the season.

That right there, is hard facts. The #5 (excuse me think I said 4 last time) doesn't even post a better record then the #8 seeded West team. What's that tell you? That tells you, #5, 6, 7, 8 in the East wouldn't even MAKE PLAYOFFS in the Western conference. The West EASILY wipes out 50% of the East's playoff bracket. But somehow the East holds the power? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming to an end, but not ended yet. Big difference, but way to see the bigger picture of things. Now can we agree your a dumbass in basketball knowledge an smoke a BLUNT to it? Lol.
I don't know 2-shits about baseball, so I know how it feels lol. Although Giants are my team so I was happy TWO of my teams won GOLD last season!
That's a hard thing to obtain as a sports fan, two teams winning the gold same year.
Niners could have made it 3!

Acting like you been watching all season, probably just turned off Sportscenter. Lol. Nah, I'm fucking with you now... I hate Adelman, ever since the Kings/LA rivalry, good coach, but seemed to be a Lebron type of person, good, but not good enough to ever win it all. Always thought he was an asshole too, very unprofessional in a lot of the earlier 2000's & still a bit bitter with Houston. But D'A is not the problem, the problem is Carmelo, as much as I like the kid, he's lazy, sloppy... Amare is getting better cardio wise, nothing wrong there, but the two together don't mesh well. Billups needs to stay healthy because he brings more then just numbers, he brings a voice, leadership, a veteran. The rest just need to play ball is all... Anthony takes to many shots, talk about a carbon-copy of Kobe #08.

...Another problem Knicks will face (big reason they were swept here) is leadership, every team needs a leader. A leader gets you through in sports, this will also be the downfall of Miami with Wade/James. The entire Lakers team is aware Kobe is the captain, regardless if he puts up the best numbers, he has a respect amongst the league with what he's done, he gets that role. Not Gasol, Gasol knows that. Amare wants to take that role as much as Anthony... but imo Billups deserves it. James wants it as much as Wade wants to keep it, problem there. Boston knows it is a party of 3, so they can deal with sharing the spotlight evenly, they've meshed that way, Garnett although, would be the leader. Durant of the Thunder, Rose of the Bulls, all these teams succeed because they have an established leader. Something Miami, Knicks, an all these wannabe superstar teams coming out don't have.

espn nah man , keep it..i never liked dantoni with the suns ..way too much talent to not win anything..defense wins in the post season..d'antoni does not believe in playing defense.. i think carmelo has the ability to play defense, thibs could bring it out in him..too bad he did not come here..can't blame adelman for the rockets problems blame their gm who gave all that money to yao and thack..i thought he did a good job in houston..i could not disagree more on billups...he was a great player at one time he is washed up now..they need a pg that can score and assist like cp3 or deron williams..believe both are free agents this year

@Benny: Cannot agree more.

@Cor: Yeah, the only problem I see with the cliche' 'he had to much talent not to win it all...' in reference to that Suns team he ran for awhile. Agree, but not fully. Because the very same can be said for Adelman in the case that he had a very good Kings team & Rockets team when Yao was healthy. They gave LA a beating when they had Artest, now look, a good, established coach in Phil Jackson has led Artest to being a better player. How is it that Artest bounced from team-to-team then ended up on LA & mysteriously started playing above par? I say coach Jackson & his zen work. Anyone who says Jackson was lucky with Jordan/Kobe is a moron... he has helped boost plenty of careers, including Trevor Ariza.

...Karl complained about Anthony's lack of defense, won't be long before D'A does if not already, an like I've been taught... if a kid keeps going to the principals office, it's probably not the schools problem, but the kids. Anthony's the problem, trust me. They were doing better without him. Just like Denver did better without him. I love the kid, I wish him the best, but he needs to get into a more professional attitude setting to become a great.

EDIT; Not to boast about the Lakers, but there was a lot of teams that had 'plenty' of talent in this past decade that never won gold BECAUSE of the Lakers. That is something even if I weren't a LA fan could see... how many times has LA been to the PromiseLand since 1999-2000 season? I'll tell you this, more then 60%, an trust me, there was some good teams in the past decade that could have won it if it weren't for LA. So D'A was caught up in an era of Lakers basketball & Kobe dominating when he was with the Suns, same with Adelman, an pretty much every coach in the NBA that failed to beat LA in post-season.

phil is the best in the game at managing ego's and that is huge in todays nba..there are a few teams who have no interest in cp3 or deron williams..but anyway those guys are only going to a major market with a decent chance at winning while getting paid max deals...knicks are getting cp3 or williams..they gave up alot to get carmelo ..maybe too much but with a top 5 pg added the knicks are going to be very good next year. and artest fell into line i think cause kobe runs that team and he fell into line , had no choice really..artest had aton of talent never really applied himself til he got to la. i am not a lebron fan but you are crazy if you dont think he will ever get a ring.

I'm crazy to think he will never get a ring, or are you crazy? Because according to Vegas, your best bet is against him. He has been losing since High School in championship games, it's documented in his first championship he lost. Second championship he buckled & a role player had to save the day & get them out of a hole, other wise, they were getting blown out. In his first finals appearance in the NBA he was swept & since then has not been back. Don't give me that shit he was young, blah blah blah... he lost, that's it. He has tried to get back to the Finals & failed continuously in post-season, & don't blame his team either. That team had the best NBA record, broke numerous in season records, had the MVP, & had the coach of the year on the team... it was plenty talentful enough to win. Lebron brainwashed his fans into thinking other wise, you don't FLUKE your way to the best NBA record or best coach or best player awards all in the same year, to say that last Cleveland team wasn't good enough is stupid.

Until he can prove to me he's not another Charles Barkley, Karl Malone... then that's all he will ever be to me, is those dudes.

Other then Rose, Durant, Kobe... no other elite player has increased they're basketball IQ literally season-by-season. Lebron, Wade, Duncan, Dirk, they haven't changed or done anything to adapt with the times, the age, etc. Rose & Kobe stand out the most, almost every season we hear about how one of them changed they're style of play in order to better benefit or compliment they're game. So, I don't consider Lebron a player who strikes me as championship material. He doesn't respect the game enough, simple as that.

It's gonna just be another 1990's Championship (Celtics vs. Lakers). I'm pulling on the Celtics winning it in 7 games.

Yeah, I thought Boston/LA to... but I'm hoping it's Bulls/LA so Phil can get his 4th 3-peat against the former team he got 2 3-peats with. Kind of ironic.
