Some Sort of Competition

well i saw the dad and i comp thread and it made me want to start and RIU veggie comp. just need to establish what plant to use. i was thinking tomatoe but then though theri are so many kinds it would be hard to get a winner.

any one got any good idea for a comp. if none have popped up here in a few hours or by the end of the day i will post my idea.

i want to try to make it something every one is already doing like a tomato but theri is just so many types of them it would be kinda unfair, but it will be a comp for just fun so i dont see it being a big deal.

any way im gonna list what im growing so others can see if they are growing it to and then let me knw if you like.

radishes.
lettuce.
jalapeño.
squash.
zuhcini.
zuchini x squash
lemon cucumber.
cucumber
black diamond water melons.
cantaloupe.
sun flower.
potatoes.
artichoke.
and some other stuff i havent gottin yet

I'd be in. Tomatoes make sense. You have a biggest, unusual colors, etc

I started my plants about a month ago in my basement. My zuk's already are showing fruit. I need to move them outside soon.

I grow all kinds and would like to be in. Gotta have cabbage, easy to grow.

Watermelons are always easy and fun. Have some Carolina cross started.
Black Diamonds are super tasty. Crimson sweet are another I am growing.
Cantaloupe and muskmelon are easy too.

Sunflowers could be just diameter for judging.
Peppers are always a challenge for me, I would be up to the challenge though

How about largest onion.

Almost anything is possible, and I would be up for all of them.

i have some flowering as well, they to need to go outside but still got about 10-20 days left before they go out side for good.


alright lets make this comp about tomatoes i guess.
