Well, yeah. Thats why in those 2 threads, I asked the same question about splicing this wire together multiple times with all the same confirmation that it was fine to do. I had assumed that you all had already purchased this pump and had it up and going, but it looks like Im the only one that actually purchased it.

I didn't know that is was a 12V.

you asked a question on splicing wires, you didn't ask can i plug a 12v pump into household socket

& yes i answered many times, you ignore my advice, oh well

don't forget the oxygen is 12v before you plugging into a 110v outlet & depending on what size gph as to how much load it draws,
the 360 gph is 1A
460 gph 2A
1100gph is a whopping 6A

check which one you have then all you need is a 12v power supply & match the amperage draw, 1 lil tip.. a lot of modems n crap have 12v 1.2A power supplys, well 2 of mine do..lol


there i told you earlier 12v, sent you a long ass pm with ton of info of which you never replied, posted several times on here SEVERAL times, 12v bilge pump, no your not the only one who purchased your the only dumbass that would plug a 12v item into a 110v outlet, the item even comes with battery clips, you even said earlier how you was using a battery charger to power it, did that not give you a clue it doesn't go into an outlet

now go sit in the corner for a week, no talking just listening

i'm sticking with my original one i picked, the EXternaly mounted version.

i'm still waiting to see what supprise you got hidden away in them big ass coolers of yours, & wtf, was that 2 pumps per cooler i saw ? are you creating a tsunami in there....lol
 
External I got no probs with. It's sticking a heat source in the cooler that bugs me.

I can stick my head in the coolers, submerge my face and still BREATHE!

Now that's bad ass,,,,,,,,,,,

I read the thread posts referred to and was thinking "Is he really charging a battery to run a 12v pump? Why not get a 110v?" and then finished the read.:lol::wall: BUT, I applaud the young man's ambition to go DWC. I have FINALLY found a friend locally that is willing to come in, tutor me, go to the store to get my stuff, and show me how to set it up. All at our collective and then I can just pull it apart and take it home. We plan an 8 plant set-up under 1600w.

Anyway, just my humble observations from the viewpoint of a noob @ dwc that is trying to get mine going. Good thread guys!:weed::bigjoint::peace:
