I want to know from people who have experience growing autos, what is your favorite autoflower: yield, flower time, easiness, etc...?

90% of my grows are autos....the lowryder strains and lowlife strains have been my fav of the past 3 yrs of varied strains of autos. Have some great looking lowryder 2 going right now that appears will yeild close to an oz each. The lowlife lemon skunk is especially good too.....
I've grown several other strains and now trying out some sweet seeds auto speed devil2 and fastbud and GHS green-o-matic....still have a month or so to go on them so I'll withhold my opinion of sweet seeds and ghs autos........I also have some world of seeds pakistani ryder and auto assassin that I look forward to growing soon.
Lowryder 2 has been my solid performer so far as I love the taste and high she gives....
If temps, nutrition and lighting is correct throughout the grow, most finish close to ad time....It seems a lot of seedbanks are getting in on the auto scene....but I suggest sticking to the older strains........

Auto AK has been a good non-couch lock high for me. Good head high. No giggles though, but that's probably because I am not a funny person.

yeah i grew lowryder2 very good smoke and yeild but if you want something that takes up less room like me you could try flash auto cobra it grows with the buds on the main stock and very little branches, ive two going now and cant wait to see how they get on

I usually run Nirvana Short Ryder w/ excellent results. I've got some World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder that is looking very good and an Onyx that is still in seedling stage.

But most of the time it's Short Ryder. It's super fast, durable, easy to grow and good smoke. At least my stoner buddies love it...I rarely smoke anymore. I pull about 1 1/2 oz per plant.

Sure...

Indoor. Grow Tent 4x4x8. 400 HPS, 20 on 4 off, soil, I use my worm bin soil/compost and mix in Fox Farm Happy Frog (tomato mix) and add plenty of perlite, wet the soil then let it sit for a bit so the little tiny fungi can grow a little. During this time I start the seeds in jiffy pots. As soon as they get their first set of real leaves I plant them in 2 gallon pots with my soil mix. I've seen folks put them in smaller pots, this is a mistake. Put them in big pots, they like the room. Don't transplant them from pot to pot either. They don't like it. Just get them set and let them do their thing.

I use plain tap water. Once they start really flowering then I mix in some Alaska Morebloom every 2nd or 3rd watering until they are done. They seem to like it so I have stayed with this process. I don't bother with worrying about PH or flushing. The end product once cured is smooth and potent.

I used to start them using a 400 MH then go to HPS when they really began flowering. I don't anymore because I've found it makes no difference. I just start and finish with my HPS.

I want to do a couple outdoor this year. I'm sure if I really worked on dialing it all in I could do a little better. So there you go. That's what I do and they seem happy.

Yeah man, just tinker with it and you'll stumble across something that works for you. Since I use mostly the Nirvana Short Riders my process is geared toward them. Other strains will probably like slightly different parameters.

Happy gardening!

Big Buddha Auto

Big Buddha’s ‘Automatic’…. the next generation of autoflowering strains bred with the intention of more stability and strength as well as flavour and a taste that the 1st generation of autoflowering strains never had.
Big Buddha’s ‘Automatic’ is one of the simplest to grow autoflowering plants in the world….. it will astound you with its ‘cotton candy stick’ structure & amazing ‘sticky resin’ glistening on its flower tops.
With its short height and extremely ‘sea of green’ structure, Big Buddha’s ‘Automatic’ is very low maintenance, they really are ‘throw and grow’ seeds!

Just a note about my experience with Short Stuff Onyx...had three seeds. 1 mushed after it popped. 1 hermied and 1 was a male. They are "Out of Stock" at Attitude and I'd personally stay away from them until they are stabilized. It's too bad, I was looking forward to trying them out.

I have some Nirvana auto-Northern Lights coming (they relisted them so hopefully they've resolved any issues) and just for shits and giggles I ordered some Nirvana Blue Mystic from Attitude (yes, I know there were issues with them but I thought I'd give it a go anyway).

I received a freebie Onyx from Attitude. It was a dud - never germinated.

Balzac, I've got some Easy Ryder fems on the way. I was thinking of trying two inside and one outside. Any tips you can offer on that strain specifically?

Sorry I said short riders "blue Himalayan" It is short stuff, that's not what I ordered but that's what I was sent...... 7 out of 10 popped and are doing real well so far, about 2 weeks in.

I am going to give them 2 more weeks, then move them outside slowly, and start to give them jacks flower fert's
I was hoping for at least a male and a female to breed them.....

The Joint Doctor just released a new strain that seems like it could be a top contender, Chronic Ryder (Lowryder #2 x Chronic).
I just saw it on the Attitude today for the first time as I was browsing.
