Grapefruit Diesel or NY Purple Diesel?

I'm a big a fan of diesel strains and I've noticed Next Generation Seeds has some fast flowering versions.
The 2 that catch my eye are Grapefruit Diesel and NY Purple Diesel, both finish around the same time.
I've had some Purple Diesel before (not sure if it was Next Generations version) and it had a good Diesel high with a nice relaxing quality to it.
Amazingly, I've never had any Grapefruit strains before, so I'm unaware of it's effects/feel.
So would anybody know from first hand experience how the Grapefruit Diesel compares to NY Purple Diesel (in terms of how they smoke, grow, or both)?

i'm currently running Next Gen- Grapefruit Diesel fem. It seems to be growing fantastic. It's starting extremely slow due alot of stress in it's first few weeks.
As far as grapefruit strains go ...I just tried my first hybird. Dinafem- Sweet Deep Grapefruit. It's an average smoke. average smell ... but an amazing producer and beautiful plant. I'm not too familiar with Grapefruit strains myself, however Canada seems to love em

ive only grown the ny purple diesel but it is a nice yeilder but was more of a daytime smoke compared to my grape god clone or bubba

Grapefruit diesel is some top shelf herb. The smell reminds me of og fire.

Does it retain the Diesel high or does have more of an Indica stone from the Grapefruit?

like crap and i really hate to strain bash but i grew several seeds and the bud from all of them aint worth talkin about. i didnt even wanna smoke it with anyone lol i was that ashamed. i even quit takin pics lmao. Waste of time if u ask me. i couldnt c medicine man or white rhino being so stretchy with such light weight quality bud...I can grow my GG or bubba kush in the shade and itll still knock u on ur ass not the hammerhaed tho lol it sucks if ya ask me.

To me it had a balanced high of both strains. But that's only one pheno, it was very potent and lasted long a little energetic at the beggining then mellows out with and indica stoned after 2 hours, the flavor was awesome and smell was hashy with hints of fruity bubblegum. Smelled a lot like og fire even dinafems blue hash kinda smells like it. If I remember my buddy said it was a quick finisher I think at 7 weeks maybe 8.

Bringing back an oldie guys but I'm ordering some beans tomorrow and wondering if I should get the ny purple diesel or the grapefruit diesel? How'd yours turn out?

If grown right its very good highly distinguised tast and looks one thing is there are different phenos of this strain you could easily have gotten a bad pheno ,I get good quality seeds and still run across one or two that is why I get 5 at a time lol but its really really good lots of buds very branchey top quality weed
