DIY can be cheaper if you know what you're doing. Materials will run around $50 but then you have to know how to build it.

There really is no cost advantage with a DIY. What you do gain though is a custom fit to meet your specific needs.

Honestly I wouldn't go DIY. My tent is perfect, works flawlessly, and I don't have to fuck with it!
I've got the GL60. 2x2x5.3.
Id reccomend either a 3x3 or a 4x4 with 400w lighting, maybe 600w on the 4x4
I've got a fully detailed journal on this tent, timeismoney.. id love to help you out

Man i really didnt want to go to a 600w, i dont have the full capabilities to spread teh heat away from that. this is going into a apt i gotta keep it low. ;-(

This light runs both MH and HPS even though it only comes with the HPS bulb.
No heat issues since its a cool tube also. Inline fan and carbon filter and you'd be set.
