Is BHO bad for you?

Since your running butane through the bud, and dripping to the plate etc, is it bad for you? Like since butane is the part of the oil?

there's no butane left if you do it right. if you scrape it off the plate & light it up straight after you extract it, then yeah, you're suckin tane. but if you dry it good & give it the salt water taffy treatment (chopping & stretching & kneading with a razor blade) then there's no 'tane. i won't smoke it till all the residual butane has been worked out the next day

Or you can get with the times and learn about vac purging the oil. It gets out pretty much every bit of butane you physically can, so I would say its probably as pure as you can get.

So the answer is NO, if done properly then absolutely not. If you use shitty unrefined butane and then hardly purge it, then YES absolutely.

Ive often wondered how much residual butane can literally be left after a proper purging. How would it compare to the amount of butane from say the lightening of joint? I personally vac purge after a 45 min warm water bath purge. I also like to knead or work or whip lol my oil :)

I store mine on Parchment Paper or in my Oil Dish. Parchment Paper is great for mobility and pulling off quick dabs... plus it wont break if you drop it

yeah bho is 100% legit if you vacuum purge it as mentioned above...

I mean you literally have negative pressure sucking out the butane that already wants to easily escape.. I can't see any conceivably way there'd be any negligible amount of butane left after proper vacuum purging..

I store it in those little vials. Keeps well, and it's not difficult to get to. Plus on aqualabs those vials are hella cheap.

Not really actually... I've been making a lot of oil lately so I get better playing with it everytime. I just work it up into a ball and shove it on in.

always thought wax paper and parchment paper were the same thing. what tools do you use?
Just look in my signature and click the link... pretty much show you how easy it is to handle in video.

Razor Blades and Parchment Paper. All you need besides the Pyrex and Extraction tube... maybe a screw driver.
