someone somewhere is making too much money off of roxys and oxys thats why they blow the pot scene up cuz if people are thinking about the bust they made yesterday then no ones thinkin about the pill epidemic

the company that makes roxi's and most of oxycodone is called Purdue-Pharma, there making millions everyday, to bad they dont fork any out for funerals, fucking assholes...

I hope they legalize it for medical here! We NEED to get rid of the pills and get medical marijuana to our state! If our nations capitol can have medical marijuana why cant the rest of us?

That link describes the bust a little better. There was a "total" of 39.5 pounds seized from those plants. When they weigh out the weed to get the value, they weigh uprooted right out of the pot; roots, leaves, and everything in between. So in all reality - with their estimations - each plant had a value of $5063.29. Either the cops just decide random values for the marijuana they seize, or he was growing some 50% thc marijuana. Hell, I'd doubt if it even actually weighed 39.5 pounds... from the looks of the pictures they were pretty skinny and lanky looking.

I'd be curious to see what would happen if I was growing 50 plants of some ruderalis hemp and then purposely got the house raided. I bet anything that they'd give it a value of close to $250,000 when it'd be worth no more than $100 total "street value" due to it's inability to get you stoned.

had this happened on the 14th and not the 11th it would be tossed out of court...they went by a call in tip..then brought a k-9 unit to the house...then got a search warrant...cant do that shit anymore...i bet a lot of leo knew that the FSC was going to pass that law into affect and wanted to nab as many growers as they could before it went through

that was the best news i heard! i really think things are coming close to changing in florida.

oh, and i love dogs, but i just wish they lost the ability to sniff for drugs.
 
Do any of you think a lot of these bust may be from info from the smart electric meters. Im told that the smart meters can log power consumption very accurate. meaning if you have a 600 watt light coming on 12 hrs a day it can log this info. the reason I ask because I have seen sum high dollar grow houses get busted and cops say they got a call from a neighbor complaining about smell of reefer. but while they showed the bust you seen carbon filters and ozone. just hard for me to beleave all these bust are from neighbors calling in like the cops are claiming
