What is going on here? No one know?

Leafs have been staying green but becoming crispy and curling under like a canoe and the new growth is almost deforming to a point where they dont look like new leaves but instead little pale greenish grey and tan nubbs. I have seen alot of people posting in different forms about their plants "Canoeing" yet theirs still look VERY health compared to mine. In my experience, i have NEVER had this severe of a plant problem as this, i only had to deal with NPK deficiencies and stuff like that now and then.

I have gotten MANY responses to this problem and it seems like no one can tell me one for sure thing. This problem has been going on for months now with newly cut clones and mother plants. Had to trash quite a few because how bad they become. I hear things such as:

1. Over watering or underwatering - Impossible, the plants are given enough water without becoming extra saturated (a 1/3 coco, 1/3 soil, 1/3 pearlite mix is being used. I changed to this because some people actually blamed the coco for this problem)

2. Too much light - what is considered too MUCH light? I have a 8 bult t5 light that i recently upgraded from small compact fluorescent lights which were a few inches from the plant, now the t5 is about 2 feet away from the plants now in a small closet so i dont thint too much or too little light is the problem

3. Too much heat or hi/low humidity - bought a hygrometer and it reads the room stays 68-77 degrees F, and the humidity stays between 40-56

4. Light cycle fluctuation - the same closet has been on the same veg light cycle of 18/6 for over a year

5. PH fluctuation - my PH stays at 5.9-6.0 (i double test it, once with correctly calibrated digital PH tester, the next with GH ph up/down test kit

6. too much nutrients - i give them UNDER the dosage it says to on the Botanicare line, now i recently switched to CANNA brand nutrients because i heard good things about no salt buildup like botanicare gets and yet no change.... I have even flushed the plants multiple time and NO LUCK!

7. Bugs - I dont believe i have seen ANY bugs in the closet

8. Calcium deficiency - ok.. i use tap water which should already have enough calcium in it but i thought "ok, ill add a little cal-mag to the water" and it made the plant shrivel up alot more than it did in the first place, but then i started to let water sit out for about 24-48 hours to evaporate the chlorine hoping that make a difference but nothing...

9. Root-bound - ok, in a mother plant or larger plant i could understand this, but newly transplanted plants which have had the problem for a while?

My friend was having the same problem with his plants (clones from same mother plant) and he put the plants outside, added bat guano to the soil and started watering it with botanicare veg fertilizer (same fertilizer i have used which i have used) and some root booster and his plants are looking great. I would try all this, but i do NOT want to take the plants out doors since it make introduce bugs.

Can someone please help me out here, iv been in a depression because i cant figure out whats wrong... it's as if I had a child and it were sick and there's nothing i can do about it because it seems like iv tried everything

If someone could give me a straight forward, working answer to my problem i would be forever grateful.

Thanks. Its almost giving me a headache, I'm even considering just trashing em all and getting ahold of some new seeds, I never had this problem with any other strain =(

there are alot of variable you could be over watering them causing them to wilt which then the light could be killing them. generally if the light is too close or too hot it could fry them. also your fert your using could be over feeding them killing them

dkoske - the light isnt too close, i use mild fertilizer (havent actually used any in a bit cus i feared over fertilization) and the heat is pretty moderate, its not even hitting 80 degrees

corso - yes i do adjust ph, as i said above my ph is always adjusted to a ph of 5.9 - 6.0

Timeismoney - as for the soil, i was just using coco until someone told me that the coco was killing my plant, then i switched to miracle grow and added perlite to it and still the same problem, now the newer clones have a mix of perlite, coco, and MG soil 1/3s of each

hmm.. i might give that a shot. the thing that concerns me is that i read that dolomite has a ph of around 8-10 ish will that be good for the plants?

I would try another water source, bottled or rain water and add some Epsom salt (1 tblsp/gal) and flush so the run-off is as close to 6.5 as possible.
