Hey bro..that og#18 bud is beautiful!!!.....love them crazy calxys on the g13 also.............i noticed on your feedin schedual you do some feeds with just plain water, i never did this in my grow as i read when doin research you shouldnt water canna coco with plain water cos you can wash away the buffers and damage your micro life or somethin, and that you should always add A&B at a weak dose.......do you no if thats true and would you recommend doin some plain water feeds durin my grow??
cheers

i have heard that also, i just choose to ignore it lol.

i suppose a weak a+b would be ok, i just like to make sure all of the strong salts are washed out of there ready for the next feed, also i always feed within a day or two after flushing to stop the, getting defisshunseees.

'Making It Rain' :hump:

I always MIR between feedings with my Pro Mix. 2 - 3 days after I MIR, as the pots are still drying but not completely dry, I feed with nutes/ferts. Then I let the pot get completely dry (4 - 5 days) before I will MIR again. I only use 2 - 3 times my feed volume when flushing/raining (mostly cuz it costs 40c/ga), but most people use a lot more. I use Oregonism for micro/mycho goodies every other feeding.

i don't know the first thing about soil growing, i grow coco and because there are no nutes in it if i flush then leave it for 4-5 days there would be some serious deficiencies, as i said i only flush to wash out the previous nutes to prevent salt buildup, i also only use the volume of the pot to flush, not 3 times the vol.

i just hit them with 30 liters and got 10l runoff now that is what i'm all about!

I always go for like 15-25% runoff every feed, so it washers out old nutes everytime thats why i dont flush durin the grow, think i may have a little go this time cheers mate

what is in the pro mix then? does it contain coco? i wouldn't say the coco dries too fast, in my coco beds i only need to water every six days, i think it holds water very well infact, well better than soil anyway, promix could be better.

and hotpyhre i grew one plant in soil, never again, i nearly broke my back every time i picked up the pot, that was in 18l pots, but still heavy shit. coco weighs very little

i had to put it at the front of the tent in the end because when i leaned over the others to get it out it nearly killed me lol.

i got good results in it too, nice yied and a real healthy plant, it was ordinary top soil and i used my coco nutes on it and it worked fine, it was very dense and didn't drain well either, just goes to show how easy this game is
