If You Could, What Animal Would You Be, and Why?

.. so today i ran up to the post office with my nephew to see if i had any mail in my po box, and while i was getting back into my car, i saw a cool redtailed hawk floating in the breeze, hardly moving a muscle as he circled effortlessly above my sun roof, i showed it my nephew, when he replied that he would love to be a hawk.. i had to know why, so he replied you don't really have any enemies, and your free to fly where you want..
so i thought it would make a cool thread to see what animals people would like to be if it were possible.. i always thought i'd like to be a house cat.. i know that my cat has the best of lives in my eyes, she lays around all day, gets up to eat and play, and then goes back to sleep for a few more hours.. what a life, lol..
anyone else have any ideas of what animals that they would like to be, and of course we all need to know why as well..
