Pigs came to my home and searched but didn't find my plants. But my friend got caught, is it possible for them to read hes emails? Sent him pictures of my plants and now i'm super paranoid they will come again.

Hell fucking ya they will read his emails. They wanna catch whomever they can man. They don't know how stupid he is...he might of had all his drug contacts on his pc etc. So I'd remove your plants NOW if already searched!!! Wow. Taking a big risk...

If they already came to your house and didn't find them they aren't going to be able to get another warrant so easy. I would probably talk to a lawyer about the "home invasion" they did that yielded nothing.

I agree with Kodank on this one for sure. Especially if there are indicators of the location of your room. Like a picture that shows the access point or some shit like that.

Yeah dude... if he was growing too and he has a computer in the house, they're seizing that computer.. and more than likely his house (depending on what state, as state laws vary state to state). Which in a nutshell.. if he's in a bad state, he more than likely lost everything he owns including his house.Pigs came to my home and searched but didn't find my plants. Which means they'll have proof that you "have grown" before.. I mean, they can even prove that the data taken in the pics.. came from your computer.. they can even get the details as to when you uploaded the pics from you camera to your computer if they really needed it.
I would either 1. Harvest whatever you have, take it to a different location and hide it.
or, you could go with option #2 and throw whatever you have into your fireplace, turn on the gas, light a match and let it burn to ashes. That way, if they do happen to come back (which even if they don't.. they're going to be watching your ass.. you can bet on that) they won't have any chance of getting the actual evidence.
But like I said, if you sent him pics of your plants.. then yeah, your screwed either way.

I would like to point out.. this is the #1 way to get caught in the first place. This person would not be in this situation, if they would have had the foresight to know/see/understand that if his "buddy" ever got caught.. or if he himself ever were to get caught.. they're both more than likely screwed. This is a fine example of why you DO NOT tell anyone your growing. Especially someone that lives in the same state as you! Use your brains! I know everyone makes mistakes.. but damn man, this is a complete noob mistake.. and it will more than likely become an unforgettable lesson.
My brother in-law smokes pot.. but you know what? I'm still not going to tell him that I grow!!! It goes against the 'rules' of growing. Kinda like the mafia.. and the 'Omerta' [O'-mare`-tuh`] which is a list of rules and codes that were/are not to be broken by each mafia family. You just don't do it.. period.
Hope you learned your lesson kid.. if not, then you soon will whenever the police serve you with another surprise search warrant (will probably be when you least expect it btw..)

Well your talking about your grow op with people, first mistake. Emailing about plants and growing talking about you in general and your plants second mistake. You get what you deserve.
Sorry harsh reality is tell no one if you're not legal. I am a medical marijuana patient according to my state, yet the only person that knows I grow is my wife.
Not only they will rat you if they get caught, but if you ever piss them off, they get jealous or they want to eliminate competition.. or any other stupid reason. Why chance it.

They didn't come for me, my bro witch lives at my place was whit my friend and they got caught. They came by my home cause of my bro that doesn't even know i grow. The only one that knows i grow is that same friend, he was the guy i got my plants from. Indeed huge mistake whit that picture though.

shitty deals dude, hope you don't get busted too. was actually reading a "have you ever been robbed" thread a few months ago and one person had said he has a device on his doors that when electronics pass through it (laptops, computers, etc.) their hard drives are wiped and he said it saved his ass when he got raided. That being said he probably was part of an operation that would need sophistication like that, if I was you I could either harvest, destroy, or move your plants elsewhere and let NOBODY know, good luck to you bro!

Because as per the Terms Of Use we all agreed too we are all agreeing to being medical patients and only growing for personal medical use. Which under our State Law protects us. So we technically should all be legal in our respective states. If you are dumb enough to break laws and then put on the interwebs for all to see...you should be caught for being a dumbass. Work smarter, not harder.

True. It sucks.. here they are so back logged that you just have to send yours in wait 21 days after they cash your check and you're approved (just keep your papers till your card comes). Only time you are getting denied it looks like if you dont send enough cash or mess up forms.

Also, to the OP. It's cool if you have someone yer getting hooked up from and that you didn't spread yer shit around. But ya, when wanting to show that guy progress of your grow, invite him over lol. Don't leave paper trails. Common sense i know. But now you gotta scrub yer grow, seriously, take about a 6 month break from growing I'd say.

I'll guarentee that 70%+ users on R.I.U. are not growing legally for medical purposes, for the mere fact that medical is only in select areas & those select areas are limited/few. At least 50% of the users on here are from non-medical states/countries so right off the bat 50% are illegal. Out of the other 50% who are in grow states/countries, I would say 25% at best have a card to grow legally. Not to mention a grow card does not allow you to grow unlimited, therefore even those who are legitimate are probably still not legitimate because they are abusing they're rights as a card holder. So that remnaining 25% who do it 'by the books' are probably still doing it 'off the books' -- Furthermore, whether it is legal or not in your state it is still ILLEGAL no matter how you look at it, medical or non medical state, doesn't matter. HAVING A MEDICAL CARD DOES NOT MAKE YOU LEGAL it makes you legal'er [aha] no law stands above FEDERAL & federal law still prohibits the growing of cannabis. NOBODY IS SAFE whether they have a card or not & you make yourself more vulnerable/prone to being caught when you post your grow online. Not to say a crowd, or even handful of people get caught this way, for all I know, nobody ever gets caught this way, but your still making yourself less hidden/stealth.

Do like I do. Have 6 different email accounts and use a proxy on a highjacked wifi network when browsing and posting to sites like this. I have yet to find the perfect proxy server that completely functions with RIU.....I can post links with some, and not with others.....the "insert image/vid/link" buttons work on some not on others. I can only view my profile on some and not browse the forum threads, and the opposite on some.
But I also have 3 unencrypted wifi networks near me now.....another one just moved in and must have set up their network in the last couple days. Friggin love it. Just bounce between external ip's with my laptop, and use my paid IP address to game and do all my real world shit.
