I have clones on 24 hour light that I am getting started for this cali outdoor grow. I want to put them outside around early may. But not to instantly flower. I want to be able to put them outdoor and continue there normal outdoor cycle. Being reeady to harvest around september like average. So what I am asking or concerned about is NOT MAKING MY PLANTS INSTANTLY FLOWER WHEN I PUT THEM OUTSIDE. So should u cut them back slowly like 24 and then to 22-2 and then 20-4 until ready to put outdoor. Any suggestions or helo

Match the daylight hours. This little tool can help~~~> Daylight hours explorer

Right away before the plant becomes accustomed to the longer light cycle, shorter might even be good.

Thanks but I'm lookin for a more specific answer. Anyone else please? I've tried looking up these answrs but its a struggle to search it. So any threads to anser my question or jus someone elses opinion. Thanks

I had mine on 24 for 2 weeks from clones, then knocked them down to 18/6 for 3 weeks, I just put them outside 2 weeks ago and they're fine. They havnt showed any signs of flowering. Just rapid growth from that cali sun shine:) they're around 18" tall now....

Glad you found the answer you wanted, not sure what the point of the question was then.

Next time, match the daylight hours right away so you don't have to worry about it.

I'm not sure. I just know that some people keep plants on 24hour and then put them outside so they instantly start flowering. But that isn't what I wanted to do. And 420god gthanks for the answers back I appreciate it
