Auto-flowering Lights?

Does autoflowering Lowryder #2
need lights in the 6400k spectrum for growing stage or just needs 2700k for flowering stage?

Was planning on getting 3 cfls 65watt 2700k and 1 cfl 6400k 65watt.
(and maybe 2 T5 2700k on the sides)

some people will use a mixed spectrum (or full spectrum, which contains both the 6500K (kelvin color&temp) mixed with the 2500K to 2700K.. all in one bulb.)

I personally like to do just that. I'll use MH lights 6500k for my veg cycles.. and then switch over to the mixed/full spectrum lighting for my flowering needs.

I don't use the full spectrum every single time I grow. Usually, I'll switch it up every other grow.

i would start with blue light and move to red once you see flowers, but also thats just my opinion. remember if you grow autos under 18/6 it will take longer but yeild more rather than 12/12 which would be shorter and yield less.

This man knows what he's talking about. I use mainly 6500k with supplemental 2700k for veg, and vice-versa for flower.

Hi everyone,

I'm doing my first grow and I purchased Short Stuff Seeds Blue Himalaya from Attitude Seed Bank. I was curious though on the lighting aspect of the grow. I've purchased 4 CFL 6500k and 4 CFL 2700k. It's going to sound somewhat dumb, but this is my first grow and I want to get this right. Am I going to need to switch bulbs at some point? or can I just roll through the entire grow with one light spectrum? If I have to use both, what exactly do you look for on your plant to know when you must switch over? I'd appreciate any insight into this. Thanks!
