First Grow - Check it out!

Let me say that I'm more than glad to finally be growing. I picked up 2 shiva, and 4 super silver haze clones that I have had for 3 weeks now. The super silver haze are doing pretty damn good. A week ago I picked up another 4 grape ape, 4 lavender, and 4 sour diesel clones. They're under a 1000 watt MH with an 18/6 cycle. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Also, I've been wondering how much height should I expect to gain during the budding period if I bud them at 2 ft. w/ a 600 watt HPS. I read on a seed bank website that you can expect super silver haze to grow 2 to 3 times it's height during flowering. I'm not sure what to expect. Any ideas, or better yet...anyone grown this strain?

Thanks

Yeah it is, did you need to inquire? As soon as I put it around the rims, it allowed the bottom vegetation to grow horizontally faster to reach beyond the shade to start growing up and competing for the light. It's worked quite well and I've seen more growth with it there. Is there something funny about that?

looks good dime. if you go on youtube an search marijuana growing, greenhouse seed company has a 8 min video growing super silver haze. Check it out. they give alot of information on it. quick question, why you wouldnt use 1000 hps instead of 600. To me it seems like you are the wrong way around. if anything i would veg with the 600mh than use 1000 hps for flower but if you got the 1000 mh thats better but i would stay on 1000hps for flower. more lumens, more buds! good luck! it looks good!

Generally, it's advised not to use aluminum foil as a reflector, as it isn't as efficient as you might think, and tends to have irregularities in its surface and finish that distribute reflected light unevenly creating "hot spots." Mylar is preferred (although it can be a pain to come by if you don't live in a city, and sometimes a pain in the ass to install neatly depending on the shape/size/thickness purchased). If you can't or don't want to use mylar, use flat white paint (I'd suggest one with a fungicide in it, a nice side benefit for a grow room.) You can also use Panda plastic sheeting, which has a white side that people swear works almost as well.

All that said, you've managed to get the aluminum foil on very cleanly, with less wrinkling than I've seen anyone manage before--nice job. It's up to you of course, but I'd still replace it.
