this is an OPEN SOURCE fourm. open to ANYONE. why do you think people only post small illegal grows? so they cant get busted. most of the large grows on here are legal.....
its kind of obvious that certain police forces (AKA. american and britsh) use the internet to monitor the public (often the way school shooters are caught...). RIU apprears at the top of the google search for "marijuana growing", it would be ignorant to say that the police arn't watching this site

if something like this happened, world war three would start, and that would be all the people that smoked canabis flooding the streets in a protest, my god could you imagine it, 7 billion people in the world and 2 billion of them that want a war because they want to be left in peace.

and it would be even more ignorant to think that an internet user can be traceable, and cannot clone another internet providers modem, with tuned equipment and a software programme called dhcp force to scan the network, and use that internet paying customers account to speak to you right now, if your government wants to trace the hfc mac address, and the issued ip address, and the stolen laptop id, to find out where i have my massive amount of dried out grass and where i am speaking from, i will even tell you the company and modem model i have used to clone, the company is virgin media, the modem is 2 x 4200 motorola 10 year old modems flashed with software and linked in a way i use to get 10mb broadband without trace, and it may sound far fetched but if you dig deep enough you will find that it is possible and was going on for years, the modem used to work on its own, but they got technology to beat it and knock it out, that is where i came in, used 2 modems better software and managed to beat them, even in 2011. and in my country the police are hard pushed to control the streets at night never mind try to find grow rooms disguised to be like a needle in a haystack,this is an OPEN SOURCE fourm. open to ANYONE. why do you think people only post small illegal grows? so they cant get busted. most of the large grows on here are legal.....

you must live in a 3'rd world country then, because where i live we have a semi-facist police state, and the province im in has been "at war" with marijuana growers (even having a multi million $$ anti-drug and gang task force). and if your government is so technologically behind the rest of the world that they cant backtrack your individual mac address from tracking the source message after the unencryption then it says even more about the finantial state of "your country". Oh and one last point the forum master for ANY forum has a log of IP adresses, all any police agency has to do is get the list (warrent or otherwise) to know EVERY IP adress for all usernames registered to the site........ backtracking and subsiquent backhacking is easy after that..... are you forgetting that the US military are the ones who made the internet? they probably know how it works.....and they DO share information.
and you keep acting like were talking about little grows, here in BC we have people that grow 20,000+ PLANTS all in one grow. they have a real reason to combat us growers.

At the age of 15 I was able to create programs with proxy servers to fuck with users in various ways on chat forums, boards, etc. -- tells me the fucking GOVERNMENT who isn't 15 years old working with specialists can easily identify your location. I don't care if your laptop is stolen, your running a fake IP, your milking the internet from a third party, & your 100 feet under ground in Iraq, they will/can find you, with ease. Some of these programmers have been doing this since before you were sucking your mothers nipple for milk my friend. Get it together, your not some master hacking programmer specialist, if you were, you'd have a better job then growing or wasting your time on RIU. Trust me...
Watch a movie about a dude named KEVIN MITNICK & you will see firsthand, that even in his time, they could hack things you didn't even know were hackable. Your telling me if they were looking for a murderer named John Doe & they found out he was posting on RIU, they cannot easily obtain the info. to where those posts are originating from? Your oblivious to life. Everything you do is traced back to you no matter how hidden, how protected you think you are, it all came from you therefore with enough digging it'll lead them to you.
Learn the internet... nobody is anonymous on the internet, come on, thought that was common-sense knowledge, guess not?
It's not the Government I would worry about anyway, it's all the hackers they catch & throw in federal prison, who they pull out & cut deals with to trace or find people -- these prisoners are as smart as some of the smartest people in the world in programming.
