Nickel - $5.. nickel=5
Dime - $10.. dime=10
twenty bag / gram - $20.. hence the number twenty.

I've only been smoking for about 10 years, but these have ALWAYS been the prices where I am at. I know it's lame. It's just how it is when you deal with people who only care about making money. Especially where I live cause people definitely have the money. Bunch of TCs.

First I dont deal......Second how is that your dealers problem if you buy some ground leaves? You looked at some leaves and bought them? Like what kind a leaves did you buy? Like leaves off a acorn tree or somthing....Damn thats harsh . You didnt go dope head and smoke them anyways did you?

ok, hello! im new here. i've recently just started smoking. can someone please post pictures of a half dub, dub, and quarter? the first bag i got was a dub, and it took up the entire bottom of the plastic baggy, about 1/2-1 inch high. then i got a half dub, and it was much less than half of what i got the first time. in other words, im very confused. please help!!! thanks.

Dillweed two things 1st. it all depends on what kinda marijuana you are getting I have smoked some stuff that was 50 a gram,(yes it's alot but it rocked 4 of us afgani gold)...but generally for 50 depending if it commercial or Nug,Good,Kind,Killer"Way better Marijuana"

For commercial for 50 depending on area and dealer you can get any where from a 1/2 to a oz"if getting a oz it more than likly dirt of the dirt"which is 14g

For the better stuff.....50 can range as i said from a gram- a 1/8


2nd it all depends on how big or small you roll them. genarly a 5 sack should roll a blunt so out of a decent 10sac should get a blunt ncie size joint and a powl pack or 2 with left overs and roaches to stoned to do the math...but you can get the jist of it...

Shit where I grew up everything was based on the Standard System not metric, that's a new development for me ...

Nickle 5% of an Oz = 1.41g
Dime 10% of an Oz = 2.834g
Dub (new one on me) 20% of an Oz?? = 5.669g
Quarter 25% of an Oz = 7.087 g
Half - Half and Oz = 14.17 g
Oz = Oz = 28.34 g

It's MATH people not regional religion. Those are EXACT calculations. Perhaps a dealer will round .10g up on a Nickle or .087g down on a quarter to make things simple but conversions are static and never change.

I heard that in the 60's and 70's you could get a Nickle for $5, Dime for $10, Quarter for $25, and Half for $50, and an Oz for $100. I have never seen those prices for anything decent.

As far as looks go... well that can be deceiving, for starters 1 bud with the same volume may have a different mass depending on density and moisture. So two 'bags' of the exact same weight could have differing volumes. The most accurate way to go is get a pocket scale I've never seen a head shop that doesn't carry them.

Old school rule of thumb.

A 1/4 will be about the size of a real US Quarter.
A half will be about the size of a half dollar.

Hell if my stuff doesn't come in a jar in bud form I don't buy.

prices may varied in different places but the weights are the same everywhere!!!

nickle = schwag
dime = .5g
dub = 1g
8th = 3.5g
4th = 7g
1/2 = 14g
1oz = 28g

dime = 1g and dub = 2g? common sense people, who would buy 8th wen i get two dubs = 4g $30-40, rather then an 8th = 3.5g $45-50
