idk about this one karmpuff.. i had always thought it would be a cool job as well, but my friend works in a headshop in florida, and she is always telling me about all of the crack heads that she has to deal with on a regular basis.. and she also has a lot of kids coming in looking for bath salts and shit.. she just sent one of them to bed bath and beyond the other day, lmao.. she's got no patience for such things as you can see..It would be cool to work at a smoke/head shop
A guy I knew worked at the Frito lay factor, He got to take home box's of free chips.
and i don't know if i could work some where where i had to kick someone out for mentioning the word bong instead of water pipe.. i really hate stupid ass shit like that..

I guess it all depends on where you are located, here in Cali. [around my area] crackheads tend to stray away from head shops. For one, they don't like to bring the attention, for two, they have no need for anything in a head shop, pipes sold at head shops are specifically for weed in most cases, crackheads don't have much reason to visit one, def. not on a regular basis! Furthermore, I don't know why they would make someone kick a customer out who incorrectly refers to a 'water pipe' as a 'bong.' I have referred to a water pipe as a bong on accident a few times at a few different shops & have never been thrown out. You just get a little giggle from the chick working the counter an a correction. Sucks to live in Florida, I think a head shop would be a easy job...

yah, i've asked her about the crackhead thing and why the just don't get those rose pipes from a gas station like normal crackheads do, but she said that a lot of po po sit at the gas station and watch for such activity.. i guess she had a point..
and i know i've been shown the door in philly for asking for a roach clip before in a head shop, so i guess it does all depend on where you live.. i would imagine that cali would be a lil ore relaxed on such things..
