u dumb shit weed aint like us it doesnt need rest in veg. it needs carbon dioxide, light and water...THERES NO REST IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

You need to use the 18/6... and here's why: A cannabis plant.. NEEDS! down time. In other words.. it needs its sleep just like we humans need ours. If you don't give the plant the 18/6 schedule.. and go with the 24/0 schedule.. the plant will never have its down time. In other words.. the plant needs the sleep time.. or lights off time.. in order to properly process photosynthesis.. period.

You can use whatever schedule you want.. but the common sense thing to do.. is use the 18/6 so the plant can process photosynthesis.

i grew jack hearer long ass time ago and i started them at 24/24 for like 3 weeks then went to 12/12 the 3 weeks veg lower half of the plant was all pure male they were feminezed seeds then from where i hit them at12/12 it was mostly female with herm balls i was like wtf down the line i read to many light hrs linked.to hermies sure theres auto flowering strains that have evolved to 24 but for the most part they need a break even when i run 18/6 like i have been doin ever since.that grow with some pheonos in some strains i notice a plant or to in my garden drooping after 16 hrs light till 18 shut off cause there stressed then in the morning there happy again so i would stick with 18/6 its the safest bet man follow nature

18/6 all the way. Maybe 24hrs for the first 2 weeks to a month. Its my first time growing and I've gone from 24 and now doing 18/6 and let me tell you when my plants are in the darkness they GROW. Everytime I look at them after the 6 hrs they are bigger and I have to raise my light (almost everytime). I would think that any plant no matter what kind needs rest and would produce more roots which would accelerate growth. Read the "Marijuana Horticulture Medical Growers Bible" by Jorge Cervantes, he knows his sh*t and he says anymore light than 18hrs is wasted.

Stop listening to people who say its a fucken fact when growing weed man cause a guy who has been growing all his life will tell you hes still learnen somethen eatch grow but if you look online theres alot of people reporting a ton of male plants and hermies linked to 24/0 then theres some who veg at 16/8 and only use blue light keep there humidity up and order regular seeds and get all females ive herd light hrs and heat are the 2 biggest factors when u get your plant sex but hey do what you want

Your'e wrong del, clones...lots of em' at 12/12 is best. No buying seeds constantly, damn things are as expensive as gold and hookers!

LOL im impressed off an indica in what 8 weeks? What was your dry weight what kinda bulb im impressed if you got a solid full zip for the most part potency goes with age of the plant but you never know

Medi bud in the bowl, a hybrid of Sativa and Indica....huge prehistoric fan leaves the other is CHURCH by Greenhouse seeds which is a hybrid too. Both were grown similtaneously from seed straight 12/12 in aero for 9 weeks which is their flower period...no BS and plain old Ionic flower nute, zero yield enhancers!

2x 600W HPS dutch poots w/digi ballast. 8x Medi dry weight 478g and 8x Church dry weight 456g.

i do not grow and am here simply here to broaden my horizons. that being said, i could see how the 16/4 light cycle would be more financially luring than the 24/0 cycle in many major cities since prime(peak)-time electricity is close to double the cost of after-hours electricity.

You can veg at 24/0 20/4 18/6, whatever you feel comfortable with. However, you do NOT want to go below 16 hours of light, because this will cause the plant to flower. Flowering time is 12/12.
