Man my water gets stagnant much faster than that... But the H202 is helping along with the lack of nutes. The light I'm using is an 8 bulb T-5 light in with my veg plants but the lights are a good 8-12 inches above the clones. Temp runs a pretty constant 72. I'm waiting.... And hoping.... LOL
Anything new bro I'm in the same perdictiment as you im only on my 6th day and nothing yet and Im doing 24hr water on h202 temps in resv 68-80 it gets warm quick tho it gets to 80 then I put ice in it then check ph, my outside temps range from 78-80 IDK what else or what im doing wrong can someone correct me if you can think of any flaws, I feel its the temps when it rise to 80 it fucks them up and the outside temp to. But I seen ppl clone in same temps constiently in the 80's IDK HELP! +Rep for help

Nothing new for me. I'm getting a timer and setting my cycle to 1 on 4 off and adding more water to keep my res cooler. I think this is the prob for me honestly. 68 is ok but 80 is probably too warm.

my water is definitely 80 most of the time (end of summer here) and my cuttings were from some sativa's at week TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of flowering. ten days on and roots spouting as a test after reading the 100 odd ungodly posts from icmag!

I have had 100% success of this always from tap water, no ph balance (tap water here is roughly 7.2PH), no clonex, no heater (unless winter) , haven't had totally blackened containers... rough as hell.

the number one rule we all learned as noobs...DONT OVER-MOTHER!!!! you seem to be doing everything right...far too right :-)

photos to come from my ultra ghetto aeroponic cloner. its a beast that defies nature :) but works!

I was having the same problem with the pump running all the time but i was looking on ebay and found just a regular timer but its a recycable timer. every tab on it is only 50 seconds long instead of the normal 15 min or longer. i run it with 1 min on and 4 off and it keeps my res at around a constant 72-74 degress Farinheit. i would suggest getting one i only paid around 35.00 for it. they have recycable timers out there but they are really expensive. i use clonex rooting solution and a couple drops of thrive alive b-1. i also use the clonex gel and i get 100% success rate. i see roots around days 5-7 and by day 10-14 im ready to plant. im using a 25 site power cloner. another thing i never use a humidity dome and i get great success as metioned. the way i clone is i take my pair of scissors and count 5 nodes down take the cut below the fifth node then i peel the bottom leaf off and cut the other leaf. i make sure to remove the little hairs as they can cause rot.. i dont scrape the stem or anything. then i put under water and make my angle cut with a sterile square razor blade and immediatly go from the water to the clonex gel. i swirl it around for about a minute or so and then right into the neoprene instert. my cloner has net cups and i was thinking of removing them but i think it helps make a finer mist. i also have a eco plus dual outlet air pump run to 2 different air stones in my res. i use distilled water and it works great for me. some people say not to use it but i really like it. before i got the recycle timer my temps were 80+ also and i got root rot. the timer i got is called a panda timer and i love it. my cloner has pvc pipe and 360 degree misters and it works so great. i would def consider buying a repeatable timer of ebay or somewhere instead of a water chiller that will run you atleast 200 or 300 bucks. i hope this helps you out......

That's a great find the hydro equip vendors get a benji for one. I almost bought one about a dozen times but I'm just using soil now.

Read the post previous. My temps ran high as well due to excessive spraying. They don't need constant spray and the pump tends to raise the temps more than one might think. I'm fairly certain I could run the right temps with a recycling time like Master McP did.
