Is it safe to pull some of these off? It's kinda hard to get a microscope or lens in my box, so I've been pulling a small leaf off thats around the bud. Is this dangerous? Can it cause hermies?
He's talking sugar leaves, not fan leaves. Sugar leaves aren't gonna be blocking off any light. This is just anecdotal, no pics etc, but i fancied trying to see if i could flower a cheese plant long enough into forming viable seeds, at 16 weeks i gave up, both plants had been harvested to just a bud on each, yet the plant which had 2 fan leaves stayed green and nice, the plant which just had sugar leaves died off and went all crispy.unless the leaves are blocking light to vital areas, there's really no need to cut them. but if you need to trim, spread it out over a couple of days. you don't want to do too much at any one time....
i thought he was talking fans. good info. on ur experiment. i am a big trim advocate. i trim into flower, and begin training in flower. thankzzz....He's talking sugar leaves, not fan leaves.
