I am a new grower and would appreciate any help you can provide with my concerns. Here are the details to hopefully help make it easier to diagnose what the issue is or deficiency may be.

I have an indoor PC case grow (micro grow) with with two 120m fan's for intake out exhaust, 4 cfl bulbs, 2-27 watt 5500k daytime lights and 2-42 watt 2700k. My temps range from 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the time of the day. I am using a soil-less organic medium by sunny girl gardens (ok but will not use this brand again), my PH is at a pretty constant 6.8, I have not used any nutes, using distilled water every 2-3 days depending on how dry the top 1-2" of the soil is, I am using 6" pots and am watering about a cup or two of water when needed. This is an auto-flowering Short Stuff blue Himalayan that is 29 days old, 2 weeks into flowering, and is 7" tall. I am not sure if what I am seeing on the leaves is normal, some type of deficiency, or something else. I think the leaves may be suffering from too much heat but not sure. Any ideas as to what may be wrong? If you need any more info just let me know.

looks like K (although could be N and Mg too)

ph should be slightly lower..

if you've had her in there for almost a month you should be feeding her something.. i would think (never heard of sunny girl)

do you have nutes available?

also just noticed a lot of those stems are purple - this could be the strain but could also mean P def... it looks to me like she's hungry but see what others say too..

I do have nutes available and just went to pick up some FoxFarm Tiger Bloom that was recommend at my local Hydro shop. I am going to try using 1/8-1/4 teaspoon every other feeding since she is so small. After doing some more research I think you are right that it could be K or Mg based on the leaf tips. I moved my lights up about 2" to bring my temps down to a peak so far of 80 to take this issue out of the equation. I hear a lot of good things about FoxFarm what do you think of them and should I be using something else? How can I lower my ph? thx for your help:)

Your ph is fine for soil and she is definitely hungry as she is showing some Mg deficiency. Also when you water do you get any runoff? 1-2 cups every 2-3 days for her age doesn't seem like enough to give her a good long drink. IMO FF is overpriced and overrated... I am using Jacks Classic Dynamic Duo and have not had a bit of problem and it does not empty your wallet!!! http://www.jacksclassic.com/dynamic_duo.html If you decide to try Jacks then add to your water before you test the ph. My water out of the tap is high and the Jacks lowers it with out having to use ph down.

Here are a couple of pics of my girls growing in 100% Coco Coir hempy style using only Jacks Classics and tap water left out for 24 hours to remove chlorine

Wow your plants look amazing!!! Great job and I hope that after a few more grows mine will consistently look like yours:) Thanks for your input and I will check out Jacks for sure. To answer your water runoff question, no, there is no run off. In a 6" pot should I be watering more than one to two cups? Should there be run off? Will Jacks or the Tiger Bloom help clear up the Mg deficiency or do I need to treat that separately? thx again:)

You should always have about 20% runoff when you water...that way you know she is getting a good soaking. When soil is dry to about the second knuckle she is ready for another drink. Jacks will definitely take care of Mg deficiency and I purchased it at my local nursery.

And thanks for the compliment....it is truly a labor of love!!

I definitely have not been giving her enough to drink up to this point. I was so worried about over watering because it seems like many new growers make that mistake. I am going to give her a nice long drink right now and am researching Jacks too. Have a good one!

good reason bro !! check out this study i have in my journal on dark period its a good read ..

That is a really good read bro, ill take alot of that into consideration for the rest of my harvest, i might do a half and half test with my crop, so i can see the results for myself just for peace of mind, but what that link said did make alot of sense to me, and i do agree with what is has to say, so its going to be interesting to see, and most importantly test the final product!!

Just curious has anyone grown a blue himalayan diesel from short stuff. I have an exception to the rule here. It is supposed to max out at @ 18" and about an oz but I have one that is 48" and easily has 3 ozs imo it is just the diesel dominance if anyone has grown this it any otherdiesel auto and has had similar outcome hit me up. I have some onyx too ...4 of them..2 are nearing 4ozs each..if anyone has had enormous yields from autos post some pics or shoot me a message. I am nearing harvest and honestly can barely fit in a 6 x 6 tent with them (4 onyx and 7 bhd) to get solo pics....they are in a dwc rubbermaid notes

Lonely Lady is my lone female survivor from what was sold as an AF, but since it is crossed with Bubblicious is at best semi AF. She has not behaved like an AF. This photo was taken Saturday almost 5 months old.

Some of the other seeds did behave like true AF- one showed balls in 4 weeks. I replanted hm outside. He turned hermi and has 6-8 seeds finishing out. These seeds should be females and express more AF qualities. hehehehehe

She's a gorgeous christmas tree, but only 14" tall

I got 95grams off a Dinafem Fruit Auto freebie under a 1k hps in hydro. She ended up at 40" tall. All the other plants were auto AKs and averaged 2oz a plant
