Broken branch

HELP!

I broke a branch off my plant today, its one of the top main ones and it snapped form the base.

Is there anything I can do with this, it is/was a really health branch.
Will this cause problems for the other top branch?

Can i put this in water and get roots maybe?

there is a powder made for cloning that you can dip the broken end into, it has hormones that will make it grow new roots, dont put it directly into water though, use a damp paper towel. i cant remember what the name of the brand is off the top of my head but you can pick it up at walmarts garden center for like 5 bucks.

I would certainly try to get it to make roots. Treat it like you would a cutting, dip it into some type of hormone first (cloning gel or powder). Good luck, I hope it grows into a new plant for you.

The plant knows how to heal itself. There will be one less bud site and there is a small threat of bugs or disease getting into the open wound. Not likely, but be aware.

not really, growth might slow for a day or two, but it will be ok. you can also try a liquid called super thrive it works good on helping plants resist stress and you can use it instead of a powder or cloning gel. its like $10 a bottle at your local megalo mart.
