Yeah, I'm all about being cheap and live by the dollar tree and 99 cent only store, just as long as I try to break whatever I'm buying while still inside the store...if it doesn't break, I'll buy it!
Did that. Some of the things there only break when you use them as they were intended. LOL
I'm always on the lookout for good deals at the 99 or dollar tree. I found some great twist-tie type of wire on a dispenser. Bought two spools, they last a long time and it's great for tying over plants, hanging small lights, fans, etc.
)a few days ago are doing wonderful in their new pots so far, and survived the transplant with maybe 2 days of delay in growth. Cool. I'm gonna have lots and lots of babies around soon

Good items to add to the list, though I gotta note about the airtight containers, around december my 99 cent store starts selling quality mason jars for making jams and jellies(At least they did last year, right after I bought all my curing jars!)...yeah, jams and jellies, thats what I use 'em for
. could you describe your exact method when you get a chance for us seed newbies. i have 5 "sage og" seeds from my haggling days that i may try to germ my next go around, wanna make sure i do it right!
Hmm...Exact method, this time around I took a paper towel, folded it in half twice, got it fairly wet, opened her up and put the seeds in, folded it back over, and popped it in an OPEN ziploc bag, put it in a drawer directly underneath my cable box to keep 'em from getting too cold, and checked 24 hours later...The seeds I started Monday night were actually ready thursday morning, I just waited till I got home from work to plant 'em. I dunno, I've had good luck germing seeds, but it's most likely just that, luck. I've seen a ton of people use this method that hate it. The only piece of good advice I can offer is, as soon as the seed splits apart, plant it. Don't wait to see a little baby taproot coming out, cause they can be damaged easily in the planting process...Instead, as soon as the seed pops or cracks or splits or whatever you wanna say, thats the time to plant in my book! Someone say seedswap in april when we click up?!5 out of 5 ain't bad brother. in fact, now that i think about, it's as good as you could possibly get

My success probably just has to do with how fresh these seeds were, they were all from a 2010 outdoor grow, so just a few months old, I germed them roughly around the time nature would be germing them, so I guess that probably has a good amount to do with it. I hope I get at least one female in the DWC project, and with these new seedlings and seeds (8 of 'em now, but one's livin outside!) I hope the dispensary seed is female, but whatever...I'd just be devastated if all my DWC plants turned out male...well, I got 4 chances! Switching them to 12/12 on Saturday, so not long till I find out I guess.Very nice man! I only had 6 of 10 germ on me last time and 2 turned out to be male..
