My Buds seem small......2nd time grower needing Help!!!

The Facts:
10 White Ruski (White Widow-AK-47)
Grown Indoors
2 Lights- 600 & 1000
Blooming stage 12/12
Humidity 63, Temp 74
Grow Stage- Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1
Flower Stage- Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10

The Problem: My buds seem small. They smell and look great but this is my second time growing and the buds dont seem to be getting vary big. They are more stringy long looking rather than bushy. From the top of the pot they measure 3 1/2-4 Ft tall in 10 gallon pots. If I calculated it right I have 2 1/2 weeks till harvest time. Open to suggestions?? Something I should do different?

IMO, looking at the first picture, it looks like u have more than 2 1/2 weeks til she is ready to chop...i would guess closer to four...she is still poppin white hairs...are any of the trichlones turned yet? if u dont have one, invest in a 420scope...i believe its the best way to tell when to harvest mj.Like i said, just my 2cents....

First thing is to not "calculate" when they'll be done. They're done when they're done,period. If you stick with it, they'll fatten up nicely in the next two to three weeks provided you don't rush things. A big thing, one of the first things I learned, is that when you think the plant is ready, give it another week.

Should I lower the lights? I read somewhere to keep the lights 20-24 inches above the top off your plants so when they grow I raise the lights. ???

I get lights as close as possible. I bring a light down to a spot I THINK might be good. I take my hand, flip it over palm down and at plant top level. If I hold my hand there for 30 seconds without it becoming uncomfortable, then I consider it safe enough. I can then lower it more should I choose....but ALWAYS check the temp everytime you adjust the lights.

My hand may get really warm, but if it burns or becomes unbearable, then the light is too close. That is how I always measure light distance, and it works well for me.

That being said, the closer you bring the lights, the more vigilant you need to be everyday to ensure you maintain that safe distance as the plants grow.

As far as the buds grow should I use another stimulant? I am going to try molasses. Anything that your using that seems to really make your buds explode?
