I'm leaning more towards a pest issuse. Yet I can't be certain. Although, keep in mind, HIDs will not burn you plants if you have droplets of water on them... I mean come on... If this were true, think about the implications of when it would rain under the sun...........

It's possible that the whitish film on the leaf is from water, but that can be washed off if so. You can burn you leafs if you drop fertz on them, but it doesn't look like that.

Well 2 things disprove yer theory. 1. The sun is no where near as close as a HID would be with reflective material. 2. Those aren't HID's jsut big old CFLs 3. Distance from the canopy and reflective material should not be taken into account when you are comparing the sun and an HID... because there is no comparison!!! The sun is so much stronger than any HID (or combination of HIDs) and reflective material is irrelevant.

I'm not here to argue, but in every book I've read and ever person I've asked advice from I have been told to NOT spray the leaves with the light on excessively. Specially with nutes in the water. The labels on all the nutes even says if you spary the leaves to not do it with the lights on. It's not some conspiracy man. And i'm sure spraying them with plain water with the lights on once in awhile isn't going to eff up the leaves. I'm just saying that's what this looks like, Specially when the mylar behind the plants has over spray all over it.

Actually it was me that propose HID light burns from foliar feeding. I have never seen it myself, but I have always assumed it is because I have always either lifted my lights up for a while for spraying, or sprayed with them off for fear of getting water on the lights.

What upthearsenal makes sense though, as far as water drops under intense light like HID or the Sun. I have always heard not to spray under intense light, so I always have avoided it. But if water drops burned the plants, you would see it under sun grown plants before you would see it under HID lighting.

That being said, it still looks like water stains or film of some sort.

Try to gently wipe off the marks with a slightly damp cloth or even wet thumb.

Not all the nutrient companies say that, you're exaggerating. Most know that the foliar feedings are more effective with the lights on because the plant's stomatas are open and in use, unlike when lights are off.

Hey everyone damn what a long day isnt nothing a glass of jager cant fix. I havent seen any spreading of dead spots i had acouple with brown spots. One leaf towards the bottom is turing lime greenish. O and seen that one of my roots was showing so mr and my kick ass wife tranplant it into a bigger pot

That lower leaf could probably be removed. Often lower leaves tend to do this. I prefer to keep dying leaf away from my soil when I can. Other than that, the plant looks good. As long as nothing is progressing.

I recommend when you water to pour enough water into the container/pot to allow about 10% of it to wash thru the soil (not down the sides of the pot), and out the pot drain holes. So, once the soil is wet, pour another 10% - 20% or so to push built up salts out. These built up salts can cause lockout and all sorts of trouble.

Did you try to gently wipe those "stains" on the leaf to see if that is what is was? Just keep checking the plant.

Make sure you have good air movement in the cabinet, it serves a few purposes. To keep air moving over the leaves to help against pests, to aid in CO2 to interact with the leaves better, and to help aid in strengthening the plant stock and stems.

What are you doing for Micro Nutes? What kind of soil is that. At this stage of you grow I would start some light Cal/Mag+.

Micro nutes Isnt when u give it sulfer, calcium, magnesium, molybedum, iron, copper etc? If so then no i havent thought about that. This is my frist time, All i could afford at the time was cheap soil from hardware store I got Alaska fish fert its 5-1-1 from home depot omline gave it thru the veg is i think once in flower. Then i also bought some kind of tomato plant food its 16-19-29 just gave it to them three days ago. I got Beastie bloomz im sure everybody know them 0-50-30. Since im growing CFL i heard the buds dont compact. So i was doing reseqarch and said Bush Master would help some what
