UK LED users help

does anyone from the uk use LEDs, and does anyone know where to get good ones at decent prices, im really not clued up on the technology and wont know if they all work the same, im sure they dont as theres huge price differences on sites, so if people have had good results let me know reliable sites to buy from, many thanks

If you followed the 269 long thread in indoor grow forum you will know whats good and whats bad. Good led companies tells the actual draw and doesn't stretch the lightcoverage numbers.

I am in US but have a UFO 90 that I paid $360 for 2 years ago. Although it is a decent product, it does not provide sufficient light for more than 2 small (<2ft) plants. Plus, by itself it is insufficient for flowering. Newer lights have addressed this by adding more spectrums, but there is a dirty little secret no one talks about- bulb age. The various spectrums age differently and the individual bulbs cannot be changed out as with more conventional lighting. At some point you wind up with a tosser. If you have the space look into HO T-5s like Quantum Bad Boy.

if you want a good LED lighting system you have to pay for it.

Avg cost of a 600w LED panel (330w actual draw) with 2w or 3w LED's is around 500-800GBP.

He actually lives in spain but delivery is about 5 days and there are no taxes or anything to pay. He seems very honest and the wattage he advertises is the actual draw of the light.

Not the cheapest around but id rather shell out and get the best lights i possibly can.

That is simply not true as growledhydro Spectra LED lights are built so that when an LED dies it doesn't shut down any more than the 1 that actually died and can be easily replaced (athough I don't believe you can buy spare LEDs direct from GLH)
