Do i need to clear out roots?

Growing outdoor soon. wondering if i'd need to dig holes and clear out roots near the grow area. soil is nutritious enough that the plants wont be competing with the smaller trees, but i was wondering if the roots of surrounding flora will stunt the root development of my girls?

Followup question. Does purple #1 do okay outdoors, with a first timer?

Will do, thanks. Followup question. How does Purple No1 do outdoors? I want some purple bud...
Are there any more potent purple strains that are easy to grow outdoors?

most buds arent really that purple, some are purple throughout the flowering some strains may go abit purple but when dried and cured the purple colour isn't noticable. One way that buds go purple is if they get really cold. so if it frosts are gets really cold the nights before you harvest your buds and plants will turn purple from the cold.....

I know purple bud sounds sweet and everybody wants some true granddaddy purps but for your first grow i would focus more on gainin as much knowledge about different growing techniques and how marijuana plants grow, than trying to grow purple weed. you will learn alot of things from actually experiencing growing some plants. If i were you i would gain more knowledge and experience better getting your hopes up about purple weed because most like youll get this purple #1 and it will look kinda purple during flowering but once you cut and dry the buds will darken and not be purple at all most likely (a friend had purple weed last summer and it just turned super dark, so im speaking from true experience). If i were you id focus on getting some strains that are proven to grow some quality outdoor bud, that is easy to grow, like Northern lights, white widow, chronic,.... the list goes on....

all im trying to say is your probably getting your hopes up with this purple weed dream, so i would just try to focus on growing quality bud without any problems through veg and flower. then maybe get some purps next year

Texada Timewarp, very easy to grow, very potent, lemony taste / fruity aroma. Mold and weather resistant, and beginner friendly (in my opinion). It does very well outdoors, It was developed for Ontario climates.

Did some research on it. Seems like a good strain. Have you grown it before? And where could I buy them from a reputable dealer?
