So the one thing im lacking in my ghetto box is ventilation. Everything except the lights were found around my home but i was wondering is there is a cheap mini fan or something i could use just for out take that is sold at like walmart/target or some other cheap way to hook up ventilation.

Get an illegal w/ a big fan - like the Pharaohs

I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with attitude orders? I'm just worried my mom might take the order at the door. She wouldn't open it or anything, but is there any clear give away on the package about what the contents are? Or where they might have came from? Just curious.

Had mine delivered w/ a mug - wouldn't of known what it was cept I was expecting it

A good ventilation technique is to practice a few breaths, then release all your air, then put your face in your grow box and suck in as much as you can. then run outside or open the window and blow out, just do repeatedly. or is that too ghetto?

Well gang,
I am breaking from the GG ways and going with a 400w hps and a tent. I just have to try a big grow at least once.
I doubt my cfl days are over, Ill use that grand wardrobbe box yet!

Whats up in the ghetto? I figured I would put up a few pics of my oldest girls

And here are the young' uns.
the oldest are Blue himalayan diesels and the younger ones are a mystery short stuff cross. They are all auto flowers grown under CFLs in my attic

I have a veg/clone box in the closet with 1-26w 27k, and 1-26w 65k, also it has 1 intake and 1 exaust pc fan. In my safe right next to it there is two flower cabs, the top cab is bigger than the bottom cab and top cab has 2- 55w 2700k CFL bottom cab has 1-42w 27k, and 1-26w 27k. I have diy co2 bottle that I invented not unless someone thought of it before me but I havent seen it before. My diy reflector hung on plastic chains but the plastic chains werent long enough so I use a wallet chain and cut it in half. I use lanyard clips to hook the chains. There is also a pc fan pulling heat out the bottom cab, I have a oscillating fan on top shelf of safe to blow heat out the slightly cracked door. Everything is light proofed, fire proofed, sound and smell proofed. oh yea threw in alot of pics from last grow with sour diesel, grape kush, and bagseed.

Hey Kid,if you're looking for cheap, effective, (and real, lol), ventilation for your grow area, go to a local "thrift" store. There you should find any number of used fans, all sizes, shapes, and states of repair, for next to nothing. My 5X5 grow is "breezed" by a $2.98 unit I picked up 4 months ago. Works for me. The fittings I'm seeing in the pictures are available at any Lowes/Home Depot/OSH. No need to go online for that.

if youre talking about the Y's, you can get them at lowes or home depot for less than $3 each. and you can do somany things with them. i got these bulb extenders on eay for like $4 each, real handy also.

they have them on amazon.com, might cost a little more but here they are. Y Splitters and check out the cool 4 bulb splitter on there!!

I'm assuming your talking about the things that split the light bulb socket into 2? or the lightbulb to wall outlet adapter?
Both of which should be at wal-mart.... both should be $2 or less

Not too ghetto - especially if you have a bowl on the top of your box and a book of matches - kinda like perpetual motion - smoke it as you grow it...

Hey CD, good job! The extenders; I could only find some from Australia on ebay. Not sure if they're compatable with USA standards.

heres the link to the ones i bought, they come from New Jersey, i got hem in a couple days, 4 for $16.50. Light Extenders ive got 8 of them now. they say e27 but they are for standard bulb (e26) in the US and work great.

Thanks for posting these pictures of extenders. I have never seen or noticed these before, not in pictures on this site or anywhere else. I have all of the other ones you posted and mentioned, but not these.
