i have been done before to, only because im like a twat when im pissed, arguing with the misses.. if you dont make anything to obvious you should be ok.

I've heard that the cops in the U.K. have an even bigger hard on for indoor growers than here in the U.S., hence all the threads bugging out about FLIR choppers. Cops the world over don't like to have to work too hard. They like to nab the "low hanging fruit". If you make it easy for them, they WILL bust you! Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but they'll get ya.........eventually! :fire:

yah it just sucks because the cops had many of times with me driving to get me for like 5 years and it takes this one dumb ass bitch to fuk it all up..

cops here dont have flir...its a complete bullshit story to get people worried.. and they aint spending thousands a day keeping a chopper in the air to catch me...no insulation ever on my grows, and as i said they know i grow.

I know it's a bullshit story, but the vast majority of growers don't know. I always tell people FLIR should be really low on their list of things that could get them busted.;-)

So, they know you grow, yet they don't bust you??????????? Interesting...........:???:

They know you grow, or they knew you grew?:-P

Chances are they don't give a fuck about you, per se. Anybody who makes it easy for the cops to come bust them will in all probability be busted though. I agree with you, I don't think the police are actively monitoring sites like these but I'm absolutely certain they are aware of such sites, and I'd wager that from time to time they go "fishing". It probably depends on where you're from too. If someone is "bold" enough to post personal info, pics of themselves, etc. they are just asking for trouble IMO. The laws in many places are very lenient on growers, but some places, the penalties are quite severe. If I lived in on of those places, I'd definitely NOT be posting anything that could incriminate me. :shock:

I would imagine that cops/agents would visit pot growing sites. BUT out of the thousands of people who post about grows, Only the tiny minority who post Pictures of large room/multi light or even warehoust/greenroom grows, get any of the attention. Or those dumb enough to brag about 'all the weight' they are pushing.

And nowadays since there are many people growing legally, monitering the internet would be even more fruitless than it was years ago.

I agree "we" outnumber "them" many times over. My only caveat is people tend to think they are in the clear because their state has legalized it. They are not. No country in the world is weed completely legal. Yes, it is decriminalized in many places and fines and penalties for growing may not be as severe, but make no mistake, it is technically illegal in every single country on the planet.:evil:

I agree 100%. Thats why everyone still should take precautions, such as using a proxy etc. Better safe than sorry.

I sometimes cringe when a see a forum member who will divulge personal info in a thread. Week after week of giving out details, You can start to piece together and narrow down locations etc.
