The Jiffy Seed Starter soil has no nutes and works pretty well can get at lowes, figured I'd throw that option out there..

great stuff cd! grassy is really filling out all the empty space in the box, very nice! and good demo pics for rooting those seedlings!! not to mention those drying buds look SICK!

as for the trueair, if you can't find it at wally world, they also have them at targeet for $15, also in the aisle with with the hepa filters / air purifiers. i'm using 2 true airs as exhaust vents (the only exhaust vents), and it is completely eliminating the pot smell. unbelievably effective.

wvmade... tell us more about your home made filter? what strength/cfm fan are you using with it? i tried making one with a car cotton air filter and a 188 cfm booster fan and some activated carbon but it didn't work... needed a stronger fan. thanks!

thanks bro, yeah, she's filling the box a little to much, but oh well, LoL. and the buds are almost gone, about 8 grams left and that for me!! that will last me a month or so. the smell in my room isnt to bad right now so i unplugged the true air to save it when it gets worse. it does work though and not bad for $15.

hmm thanks for the idea on the rooting powder will have to look for some of that when I start doing my perpetual grow..

sure monk, im real happy with it, im sure the other brands work well to but i just happened to buy the schultz and it does work.

plants looks great CD, but it looks like kudzu is infesting your box, good thing it is cannabis cudzu rubber bands work real well to bend, because they will slowly pull on the branch so you dont have to sit there and be so careful

hey Wv, I have had great success with perlite/vermiculite 60/40 mix, with (about 9 days) or without (about 12 days) powder or gel. But you should be able to do it in soil too with no problems, again with or without powder or gel. I had bad luck with dirt!

yep, you can never have enough cloning powder, LoL. i was gonna do some autos but i just took 2 nice KK clone from grassy, gonna try to keep them under control this time though.

its day 70, 10 weeks for grassy, dam, where does the time go? its 2 1/2 weeks of flowering, only 6 1/2 to go. she looks great, i been pulling and bending most of the stems, i "snapped" a couple but i think they'll be ok, they were the smaller ones. in the one pic you can see how much bend i got out of one of them.

and a change of plans on the clone, there are now 2 new clones, i got rid of that little cutting i took and cut 2 nice shoots from the bottom of grassy. once they root, they'll go into the 10" pots i have. i dont want them to get to big.

also, started a new group, the cardboard box growers, link in my sig, only me and homer are members right now so if youre growing in a cardboard box, join!! LoL.

thanks bro, im scrapping them though, im gonna order autos for the next grow, i really want to give them a try. i think it will be better suited for my box. i can always get more KK seeds to grow again. last night, dam that sucked, LoL. hope tonight is better. all the good ones are in sat night, but i have someone else picking up for me as i am going racing at desoto super speedway with the open wheel modified.

ok, day 71 for grassy and everything is going great. she has buds popping up everywhere, i think there are buds growing out of buds, LoL. im really pushing the limits of the box with this girl. im gonna pull the clones, i think the autos are next. im just gonna order some and give it a try. well were back to a/c being on here and the temp in the box is in the low 80's but with the door open, it goes to 79 and the humidity is right around 40%. she got plain water today and will get the last of week 3 nutes tomorrow. she drinks about 2 1/2 gallons a week. thats 3 drinks of plain water, 3 drinks of nute juice and i drink of plain water with molasses on wednesday. and yes, i water everyday.

My temps stay almost 80 now that i've really got into flowering and i added 2x more 65 watt cfls. I really don't see any change in the plants there growing more n more everyday Exausting right above your lights is the best way to keep temps down i've found with cfls cause all your heat just goes straight up Check the temp above your lights and under your lights theres a bigg diff.
