I would leave the seedling until you see decently established roots in the medium. Transplanting before the roots have kind of filled the container can result in soil crumbling away, and then you have a limp seedling in your hand.

After about 3 or 4 inches, I would pop the soil and plant gently out the container, and if you see bundles of healthy white roots, and the ball feels like it WON"T crumble on you, then transplant.

Too early can be more harmful and cause more shock than being slightly root bound.

But knowing your medium helps.....the more info the better.

It depends on the size of your cup. Example if your cup is about 2 to 3 inchs tall and about 2 inchs wide at the bottom. I would let the plant get about 8 inchs tall. hope this helps

Just because it is a pure indica, this not mean that she will not get tall.Keep the light close to the plant top.if a plant is flowered at 2ft then it will normaly double in height. It could even tripple if the lights are too high, and the plant streches.a rougth guide would be if the unit been used is 6 ft tall flower at 2ft.but this will all depend on how many plants you are doing.I just done 6 in a tent flowered at 2 ft they ended up at well over 4 ft tall and produced 2 lb in a 4ft 4ft by 8 ft in height tent......tyke
