yeah here in san deig we get snow almost every year but nothing below 5000 usually. If you live up in the Sierra's then you can expect the snow town life style.

i'm not sure how far to the top we made it. i have never gone all the way over. they have gates up there. i think we may have been up on that ridge. lol

I'm up on oregon, checking out graduate schools and they keep telling me its never this cold...its in the 30s, which is what I expected when heading up here, but appearently its usually in the 40s this time of the year. In Texas people can't tell a difference between 30s and 40s its just cold haha
