let me see if i still have my result from when i lived in new york... it was a remote part of ny, and we were the only house on the island (shelter island) to have cable. i got all the bandwidth! over 30mbps! but what i really want is... fiber optics! available here soon through our electric company, lol.that's pretty frickin' fast.
we have comcast and att&t running fiber optics all over town. should be here by the end of the year.
right! i pay for ten megs.... im glad to see im getting what i am paying for even being 6 miles away from the exchangehe sure showed us.
i see how i can be a little bit faster but not much. i get an occasional stall here and there. like a 1 second sputter. that's about it. even videos load immediately for me. i don't see how i have room to DOUBLE my speed. i mean how much faster can it get?
