I got up this morning and checked on my little bounty. It has dried nicely. Sticky and dry to the touch. Still a bit spongy in the middle. I washed a couple of mason jars and they will get filled later today. I dont want super dry crispy buds, and another day would probably put them past where I want them. Ill start curing them this afternoon. The finally tally excluding the gram or so that I smoked was 57.32g. Just over 2 z's. Whoever guessed that amount did a nice job! Good eyes.

haha it's hard not to change your avatar to pics of your buds when you start smoking them! i know the feeling. very happy for you arch that your smoke is so good. now you got me intrigued about NL from your smoke reports.... hm... perhaps an NL grow in my future... anyway, i hope you can replace that vape whip soon. oh and also, i know you vape and all (like i do), but just wait and see how it smells/tastes/stones after another 5-6 weeks of curing. you'll be converted, trust me lol.

I put her into jars today. I keep burping them every 3-4 hours through the day and I do them right before bed and right when I get up. The only time this weed will leave the jar now is to be smoked.

If having your eyes explode and having your head feel stretched and feeling like you are going mach sis with your hair on fire try NL. That initial blast is worth hr price of admission.

I will be getting that vape whip hopefully next week..money is kind of tight and I had it sent snail mail..lol. I will let you know when I get there. I am seriously thinking of buying a humidor again..lol. I used to have a big 150 cigar rig..but something smaller would work nicely for weed. I kept my cigars very well and never once got mold.

good question stoney.. humidity is one of those things that is extremely hard to control....heat and stealth is ones thing but mother nature man she can be a bitch. best bet is picking up a humidifier from walmart, got some for less than 30 bucks lota people put cups of water in there grow boxes but that seems to do little to nothing..sry for the lousy suggestions.just my 2cents

no dude, not a humidifier.... a humidor.... a small box used to store tobacco and weed. and also i would never buy a humidifier for a grow box... just use a spray bottle twice a day... $2.50 plus water.... and no electricity.

oh shit my bad brotha i misread your post.. and does spraying down your box really help out much?? my pc box tends to get a bit low on humidity alot of the time.. usually sits around 20-30%.. i would check ebay for a humidor, can probly find one cheap.. as for DIY im stumped.. sorry man

Spraying it down can work. But beware, lingering water can lead to algae growth, and mold. Especially with the light being shined on water.

This is true.... it is good practice to wash your grow box down every once in a while.... i take out all my girls then scrub with bleach water, then i let it dry completely and put them back in. I am well overdue for this right now!

I think if you draped a wet rag over your intake, parallel with the face of the PC, with it hanging into a small tray filled with water, it will increase your humidity a lot more. This is based off of watching others setups. I know a PC doesnt have much space for extra trays of water though. I have never tried to increase my humidity in my case, and it is always at 16%. No problems yet. My flower cab has higher humidity though!!

I have thought of the humidor for storing herb too, but it may also work in the process of curing it if used right. They are a little costly, used would probably be the cheapest bet. Let us know what you find Arch

I take the plastic party cups, twist a rag up inside so its sticking out, fill the cup with water and soak the rag, put one in front of the fan inside and one by intake. Works well and lasts like 2 days before refill.

Wen the humidity was low in my cabinet I used two hand towels soaked almost to dripping. I draped them over an upside down butter container. The moisture evaporating off of them did the trick.

Also I put babygirl back in the cabinet to veg again..lol. I will also be adding a newly germed seed, NL again moneys tight and had to cancel other strain order. Lets see what round two brings and I want to see if I get the same pheno that the first seed was. Did I say I love NL's high. This is the epitamy of heads up high...still enough body high to notice but man the head trip..lol. I feel like screaming "Maverick your on READY FIVE"..lol.

You could actually cure because it will stabilize the buds to the current humidity. Set it where want it and viola' you have yourself some nicley cured ready to smoke weed.

Man, I totally feel ya on the money situation. I've been putting off ordering seeds because I found all these bagseeds, and my whole last check pretty much went to paying to mortgage. If you sucessfully reveg babygirl, maybe you could take clones? I wish I had taken clones off of my flowering girls right now, and fully intend to either take clones off my current veging plants, or even turning one into a mother. I have the space for it, I may as well start keeping moms to increase the genetic pool I can draw from. Glad that smoke is working out so nicely for you, and there really is NOTHING like smoking your own grow!

Right on man. Its nice to have a place to stay. I had forgotten what that was like..to appreciate that is. If she does well, it was clones was actually my main objective. I want to keep this strain pheno alive! I was blessed with this strain..lol. Cant wait to maybe try others though. Time will tell.
