my friend who is a medical patient is growing bubba kush, the flowers are 6 weeks and she found 1 seed within a flower. She checked all other plants and saw none, no hermies were noted either, why would this plant have 1 seed growing on it, it is only on one branch, she cut it off and threw it away. :-(

Why would she cut it off and throw it away? One seed is no reason to cut up the plant, just a reason to truely search the room for any hermies. Kinda shocked that she cut it off, i would have noted where it was and made it a point to pull it when it was mature and save for future use.

So for sure she has a hermi??? She found 3 plants with 1 seed on each, she said there is no hermies she could see, she said she searched everywhere! Could a plant produce a seed if it is somwhat stressed out??? She or I have no experience with this.

Her plants are from feminized seed, and i heard that sometimes if the plants stress a little they could produce seed?? If this is true would there be male parts visible??? If a male pollen sac erupted wouldn't most of them have seed by now?? She said they are in week 6.

Yes if she has 1 seed on each of 3 plants odds are it is from her own garden, is it unheard of to get a stray piece of pollen into your grow from somewhere else, absolutely not. But i would bet it is a hermie. She needs to understand what she is looking for if she plans to find anything....
There is no chance of a seed without pollen, does not happen, the pollen had to come from somewhere. Throwing the seeded sections away is useless, she needs to track down the issue which is almost certainly a hermie in her room. I have gone into gardens when amature growers have missed seriously hermieing plants, even though they had "experienced growers" come in and check on things for them. Do an advanced search for hermies in thread titles and you will get a lot of pictures. If you see anything at all yellow on the buds inspect closely as open males are yellow compared to the green buds.
