Pistils turning red too fast?

This might be the dumbest question I have asked so far on here lol, but are the pistils supposed to turn red at this point? My plant is going on week 6 of flower and my buds still look really pre-mature but the hairs are starting to turn red. here is a picture...

I know the picture is awful but you can still see how pre-mature the buds are and how the hairs are turning amber. All of the buds are doing this.

youve got problems, thats for sure, i dont think a few pistils dying at week 6 is the problem though, the problem is why are your buds so underdeveloped and immature, pistils dying and being replaced is normal.

well. the picture shown is the very bottom of the plant. here is a picture of a decent looking bud i took a picture today. again the picture quality is awful. Other than the pistils dying off the plant looks very healthy. I just thought still might be a little early for the pistils to be dying off but i guess not.

not all buds mature at the same time, thats why some people harvest in different sections, if the plant is green and healthy then your fine, just let the plant grow and do its thing

I have a TEK sunsystem t-5 fixture 6 bulb. It was used for my reef tank about a year ago and I'm using 4 3500k bulbs and 2 6500 bulbs for flower and vegged with the opposite. The problem i know i made was letting my plants get 4 foot tall. Next go around im going to try LST.

Its pretty clear the top of my plant will finish much faster than the bottom. after the top is done do i just cut the top off?

a staggered harvest is fine, i usually do 2 or more chops a plant myself. letting the bottoms go another week or 2 can really pump up yeild imo, ive seen lots of smaller buds just explode and almost get as big as the main colas.

Yeah i was just worried about the lower immature nugs the pistils are dying. could it be lack of light to the bottom due to how tall the plant is?
