I have some skinny ant looking green insect running around my soil. Are those thrips, tried taking pictures but it won't come out on camera. so tiny. would neem oil work, spray my soil with it? I believe they do fly. i brought my plant inside to grow under the cfl's. moved the soil a bit and thats where they are hiding, looks like they are going in and out of the soil.. ugh first spider mites now these things. outdoor growing is cruel.

If they are thrips you may see them on the underside of a leaf... need a loup to see the little bastards.... and yes neem oil works... give the plants a good spray following the directions.... they should almost look waxy... re innocualte your myco herd if you do that ....

re innoculate what? lol whats a myco herd? i am a newb remember lol. I see them walking inside the soil not under the leaf, like they made the soil their home waiting for the plant to get bigger perhaps. it is still a seedling
