could you please tell me what soil you used throughout the whole thing.

I am not growing in soil...100% perlite hempy method

when do you add nutrients?

I start feeding 1/4 strength when they have 3-4 sets of true leaves on them

how often you water it and check on it?

I water when they need it but since they are only in 1 gallon buckets I water every morning.

As for checking on them, I am a bit obsessed and have been known to look in on them several times a day. They have me under their spell!!!

whats your tent size? light you used?

Tent is a 4x4x6 with a 400w hps cool tube with a 6" inline fan and carbon scrubber

hey k2 lookin good. question shouldnt bubbles (autoflower) be ready now? isnt it 60 days you transplanted on 12/3 also i have some babies bout 4 iinches tall in in dirt can i move them to hempy buckets? should i remove the dirt and put clean roots in whats ur take on that. also do you plan on having a bigger room someday kinda overkill on the air scrubber isnt it. thanks for info k2 trying to have a great garden like yours happy tokin

Bubbles was not flowering on her own so she has taken a bit longer than she should...had to switch and keep her on 12/12

Yes you can...just rinse off roots in ph'd water before transplanting.

Nope this is as big as it gets but you know what they say...go big or go home!!!! Plus my girls never get that tall as I LST all my plants to keep them low and bushy so I have room for 6-8 plants if I wanted to grow that many at once.

thanks k2 iv e gotta get some supplies i do have miracle grow perlitebut not the buckets i will get that next time i go to town i love living in the forest up north but its 30 miles to town lol so it dont happen often cant wait to get my harleys out and make it cheap on gas thanks again

Yes

No you cannot see my drip hole...I don't know you well enough!!! lol
I don't have any pics but just take a large drill bit and make a drainage hole 2 inches up from the bottom.

I don't have that many plants and do not want water standing in my tent so I do it this way: I have a piece of duct tape over the hole. I carry each plant and set it on the edge of my bathroom sink undo the tape half way and water until I have 20-30% runoff. I then tip the bucket back slightly, dry the side of the bucket and re-tape.

about nutrients, what did you use?

I wanted to get through this grow using Osmocote time released but it ran out before the plants were done. I am now using Humboldt Nutrients....Oneness (has micro, grow and bloom all in one) and during flowering to give them a boost I am adding Flavorful, Honey Hydro and Ginormous.

I feed them every other watering

Yes I have a carbon filter.... so the stench doesn't permeate through the house and it is hooked p to a 6" inline fan.

The Scotts indoor/outdoor Osmocote cannot stand up to the temps inside the tent and I didn't want to sprinkle it on top because heat mixed with water and the Osmocote under the lights causes the perlite to grow algae.

On a brighter note since I started supplementing with the Humboldt nutes I have seen some great growth and her buds are fattening up nicely!!

Well here's my thoughts on that...it is always better to under feed than over. When I transplant my seedlings they usually do not get fed until they have 3-4 sets of true leaves. Osmocote has to be mixed in with the perlite and I do not want to risk killing my young seedling with to much fertilizer....

I hit my girls with a foliar bath of sea mag to get a handle on the Mg deficiency and I must say it worked like a charm!!!

Girls are looking much better and are quickly regaining their color back!

i know you are fed up with my posts, but
about the light do you keep them up 24/7?

here is what i will be doing and correct me if I am wrong.
I will plant 4 seeds each in 4 liter bucket, put a hole with the size of dime 2' up the bucket. I will germinate my seeds, then grow its in a cube for 5 days ( i will spray them with water with water daily)

then i will move them to the bucket with the everything in. at this stage I will be watering it once every 2 days, till it get tall and get some true leaves(though I dont know what this is). at this point, I will mix my nuts with a cup of water( or shall i use a jug?) then spread it all over the hempy bucket. at this point i guess, water will be getting out the hole, and when I see that, i will start to water them once every 4 days (the water mixed with nuts)

question about the nutrient you used, is it the Oneness?

Dime size hole is to big....I used a 7/16th drill bit

They are on 12/12 as Queenie is a photo girl and Bubbles is an auto that refused to flower. Next grow will be all autos and they will be on 20/4 from seed to harvest.

Mix all nutes in a gallon jug....

then spread it all over the hempy bucket

You need to lift the buckets...if they feel light then water....may be every 4 days may be sooner. Nutes every other feeding... Right now 3 plants use a gallon of water daily.
