Ok, well let's start with effects. I preface by stating this is the first vaporizer I have owned. I am primarily a bowl toker, have been my whole life. I have tried one volcanoe style bag vape, didn't like the taste much, or the bag. I think the temp wasn't right, but I didn't know bout 'em then. Then I tried to make one. I was able to get some successful vapes from the units. I made which I liked both feel and taste. So it was between buying the vaporgenie, or the magic-flight launch box. I chose the magic-flight because my test units which used a lighter took A LOT of flame to get good vapes, and A LOT of pulling, woooooo!!
After 2-3 vapes, a good high comes over me, but I don't feel as stoned, even though I did after smoking this same stuff in a smoke form. But my body still feels it. I know this because I have been having some terrible back and neck pain for the past couple of weeks. While I get this sorted out the dr's have given me some percocet. These were helping but after getting the bud and smoking both vape and smoke form both ways have helped me get through it very much. But with the vape I felt like doing things. Although when I took several more vapes, like 5-6 and felt more head stoned. when I want to get real stoned I may still rip the bong or bowl
I am sure different pot will be different too.
The taste is very smooth. I like the air to just be warm as I draw, so it's soothing in a weird way! You really get to taste the herb as opposed to smoke. I cant wait to harvest some of these in the cabinet now so I can compare taste to what these strains are suppose to taste like
its almost like a bong hit, but no harshness at all.
The temp is controlled by how fast air is pulled through. Slower draw means hotter, faster is cooler. I like it a little slower and warmer. This gives a good long hit. Come on, we all like it long and slow
It is very easy to use, but it is small. It is just slightly bigger than the 2 batteries which come with it. But the way the battery sticks out of the side, and the 2 inch stem stuck out to draw from, it is not clumsy or difficult to hold while pulling, and it is very nice not to need a lighter. I am going to buy some replacement batteries, and save for the AC adapter when it comes out later this year.
