Is 2 150w hps the same as running a 250w hps

Honestly i think you would have better results.You should be able to cover more of area and bring the lights a bit closer..

no.but because youll be able to cover more area with light,you can grow more plants.so rather than say 2 under 1 250 watter,you can put 2 under each 150 watter.so you should yield more overall.

Hmm... If I remember 3rd grade correctly, 150 + 150 = 300 and 300 is a bigger number than 250


It will grow better! You will have more light and it will be spread out more as well.

I had a hard time with math back then and had to use those squares of smaller cubes to help me grasp addition and subtraction. But yes, we were doing addition in 3rd grade... Were you not?

kids are doing math stuff now that I sure as heck wasn't doing at their age and I'm only 21 (the greater the number of years between generations the greater the difference in what they were taught at what age)

I agree with Wyteberrywiddow go for the 2 lil hids.
I went with the 2 hids, cause they can cover more area.
About 15 in sphere around the light is opitmum for growth, 2 cover my lil cab.

Well a 250w bulb might give you better penetration but I would say the advantages of having 2 150s would make up for it. Of course if you can go even higher like a 400w you should
