I apologize for making a thread about this instead of replying to the thread already opened, but I didn't want to engage further on that idiots thread. Just for shits & giggles, you want to call that dude an idiot for selling on Craigslist, here's a little bit of updated knowledge for you, so you can get in 'todays' generation.

Nah, I doubt they are stings, they don't waste they're time on that sort of shit in California. They just got done putting a fire out at a grow house two neighborhoods away from me, but they made no arrest/charge, because the grower had they're medical card. They don't fuck with medical & hardly fuck with street in this state. Or at least this area. But, even so, they aren't DEA or FEDS so they have no reason to set an operation up, local police won't get involved, they have a job to do & they see it as the FEDS/DEA have they're jobs too. Not to mention, anytime something is 'fake' on Craigslist [again, at least in this area] a poster will find out [somehow] & they will flag the posting or they will make a new posting warning people to avoid whatever post is fake.

Nothing to worry about in the Golden State. Lol.

Exactly... it's not. Lol. But the dude that originally posted about this topic, felt it was. It really doesn't invade any laws except federal & federal, like mentioned, don't get involved often, especially after Obama told em to back the fuck up!

No, it is not legal here technically, by the book, but it is pretty much legal. Especially these past 3 years or so... not much 'enforcement' by the law on marijuana. Also depends on where you live & since I live fairly close to the pot capital of California, aka San Fransisco, the laws are even thinner. Hell, half the politicians & law enforcement themselves back marijuana legalization here. It's only a matter of time, but even when not 'if' but when it becomes legal, it'll be much like medical, a state law rather then federal, so technically it'll still be illegal.

Never went there...is it safe to assume the site relies on users to monitor posts instead of moderators?

if so, the people have spoken i guess...personal accountability is now in effect.
My question is not about the dealers, but where are the parents when the kids start buying this most horrid of substan....oh wait...marijuana...?

i would have to assume ANY post at that place could potentially result in bodily injury, robbery, or even death...soooooo

Their are always Issues, Situations and Bad things happen. But From my Point and Standing on Bud in Cali. =/ Cops Could CareLess and only want 600+ Plant Grows. They will laugh at anything less than 20plants. Slap you on the wrist*IF ITS ILLEGAL* if your legal like me. Your Set. All my friends know I grow, My ENEMIES KNOW I Grow. but at the same time, the ppl who KNOW i grow and have bud KNOW me well enough to KNOW im a registered Gun owner. But in CALI Real Recognize Real, If you Grow Bud, Sell Bud, Smoke Bud. I Personally EXPECT you to KNOW BUD and the ROPES.

Some of those listings are from dispensarys it's free unlike weed maps, they just act more discreet so they do not get a reported post.

May be all well in Cali IDK. As far as I understand it here in Colorado, I believe it is totally a crime. Prove me wrong please. Maybe you could get away with it for a while or even indefinately but I would watch my back.

Ya. You give them a gift of buds...and because you put work into it...you are allowed to accept non asked for donations. Its an unspoken thing. Someone sees people talking about selling mmj on craigslist and ya not good. PEOPLE DO GET ARRESTED BY SELLING SHIT ON CRAIGSLIST!

You are a dumbass if you sell anything illegal online....seriously...ask any cop....craigslist is a criminal gold mine. It takes 10 minutes in front of a keyboard to set 100 different people up at once.

I buy stuff online all the time. :D Have for over half a decade. :) I'm free as you can plainly tell. :) You don't sell shit on Craigslist. Agreed.

You're lucky. And also everyones city is different....but my city has a pop of like 700,000...so people get busted HOURLY on craigslist...I asked a detective in the narcotics division how many people he busts using craigslist...he said about 10 or more a day...just depends on how many addicts can get to the library and rent a computer lol.


Also on the grounds of weed...he said about 1 out of every 10 is weed related.
