you know come to think of it there was somthing i did different this grow, i was only using a 600w and planning to grow the whole time with just that but like week 3 of flower my hps bulb burned out so i panicked cuz all i had was a mh bulb left to use so i dusted off my 400watt with the hps bulb in there and put it in there with the 600wat that now was burning a metal halide light next to the 400watt hps bulb, did it like that until the new bulb arrived like 2 weeks later, then went the rest of the way with 400w hps bulb and 600w hps bulb

maybe this increase in light 1/3 of the way through flowering made the plant very happy? mabye it was the metal halide light it liked in between he flowering weeks.

but i got the heatbuster reflecter and a cheap diamond batwing one on the 400watt

i didnt top the plants didnt mess with them at all cleared out dead leaves have ossilating fan blowing up back and forth into the dense jungle upwords and another one going back and forth on thier tops.

Yeah they love having both spectrum's of light thats a definite.
I had just wondered if the diamond reflector that you have was what you have always used or if it was new to this grow.
I was tempted to buy one because of the yield increase claims but they are so much more expensive i didn't bother.
Either way your plants are loving it and look great:blsmoke:

also to set the record straight the pics are of the hugest cola out of the 5 plants

i also have 2 runt plants in there that have less than half thet size of a cola. maybe like 1/3 the size so its still a mixed bag, i think that one got so huge cuz its right under 600watts of High pressure sodium light.

i been using super oxy which is highly concentrated hydrogin peroxide i use 3 drops per gallon every time i change out the res

i always thought dwc is easyer than soil cuz its just water and an air pump nothing more easy to flush easy to mesure ppm levels. i bet soil tastes better but i think hydro way simpler even though it may seem complex its not at all, its about as complicated as having a goldfish with a air pump

u know what that plants main stem at its thickest point is not even as big in diameter as a coke bottle cap. and its got 2 of those colas on it that are that size, the pics are of the bigger one

wow thats freakin amazing....truly a natural wonder this plant it is....in terms of time left......I only have my own first indoor grow finishing off, so background reference is slim......like fdd says though they have not even started swelling yet.....and in my case when I thought they were getting close, its been coming on another 2 weeks after the two weeks that I thought it might be.....so in my case and with top44.....a full three weeks past the 44 days? I know why they took longer....just a variety of circumstances.....but there's no point in taking them early.... what do you use for finishing? flushing.....? I think you might have like up to a month left....I'm mean their huge.....but they are GONNA get HUGERRRRR!

They're beautiful! It's not too late to clone dude, grab a sprig from a low down branch, put it in some clonex, whack it in a rockwool cube and put it in veg - I know everyone says you can't clone in flower, but I managed so i'm sure you can!

It's always worth a shot I guess, but he did say they have been flowering for 8 weeks, which means it probably wouldn't root.

Can you tell me more about your system or take a pic? I'm interested in possibly trying DWC this summer. I already built an aero cloner, so I am sure it's a similar concept. I can probably even use the dual air pump and the air stones for it.. But I am not sure how everything fits together for a complete system.

anything with a leaf on it will root.

i'd say 3 - 4 more weeks. you're gonna be more then pleased.
