both those strains might be called OG but they are a lil different genetically.

i think theyre both pretty decent breeders. with DNA i heard some iffy reviews but i really liked their rocklock for the work i put in. im not surprised tho that the greenthumbs og was harder hitting!

hmmm. well i got a few things from Cali connect and they were the worst pile of hermy crap i ever bought. nothing but trouble! on the other hand i have bought MANY of doc greenthumb strains and never had a problem of any kind. top quality all the way

No herms here and I have grown quite a few strains.all of cali and now most of the world is growing these and this is the first I hear of any herm problems.

Both are honestly good breeders. They will offer you similar genetics and both have their own genetics as well. You can be sure that which ever you take, you will have great stuff on your hand.

From what I've heard, a large batch of CC's seeds were sabotaged, resulting in said hermies.
That was a year or two ago, and IMO they've done a good job of rebuilding their reputation since.

i think that was the issue that one idiot place an af strain to the grow room. so most of there strains went on af'ing and they stop production for awhile. i am not sure about the hermieng issue but maybe those issues are linked together.

 

[So Hi]

I have just finished my first batch of Cali Connection and the strain was Deadhead OG. It by far has been the best yeilding OG kush strain I've run. Plants were short to medium in height little strech and ROCK HARD, sticky buds full of crystals. Taste was kush all the way not so much like the chem dawg (sweet like a lemon bubba kush). I did 5 weeks in vegatation stage topping and supper cropping after. Plants got between 12 to 16 inches and most finished up around 24 to 35 inches. Yeild was between 1.75 ounces to 2.25 ounces . Right now I'm doing a side by side with Tahoe OG from Cali Connection and Dr. Green Thumbs Chem Valley Kush. Cali connection so far has the Dr. in height but Dr's look a lot more uniform in features. I just put them into flowering last friday with the cali connection having more strech so far . Ive also tried DNA's og and that has the best high, and strongest taste but the lowest yeild usually between 1.25 to 1.5 ounces so thats not the way to go.Dna's plants strech so much and are very sensitive to nutes their sour kush is a little more forgiving with the nutes but similar in yeild and the Kateract Kush is terrible in yeild the worst of the 3.

i also believe cali connection are unstable. i tried the blackwater from attitude and 5/10 germ and the other 5 2 out of 5 were female and all of them looked to be different phenos. the 2 i have right now are growing so slowly that i just might ditch them. i think cali connect is just all hyped up.

If you like og you will love the alien crosses from cali connection. heavy yielders of grade AAAA weed.
Alien bubbas gave me 5 zips of dry bud on 3 gals of happy frog.+ swerve is one stand up cat that does not turn his back on his customers.I went thru my dr.gt growing phase and grew some great weed but now i'm on my cali connect kick again since after trying thier new gear has me wanting more.The alien crosses are otta this world.you will not find any weed on this earth that is as frosty and potent as what they are now offering.dont take my word just ask any seasoned head who has grown them out what they think.

I dont know about you but i have a couple strains and right now the deadhead and tahoe are very impressive.I got pre 98 bubba,chem valley kush,sour og,larry og and some other strains to run next round..

ill vouche for the deadhead bro...since its the only cali connect genetics i have. waiting for attitude to offer the alien line. itl give me time to get all tga's strain then its going to b all cali connect.

Here's my Sour OG from CC on day 49 of flowering, smells like gasoline and fuel, stinks real bad, can't wait to smoke it again She's on day 52 and I've noticed some fattening in the main cola's, trichs are just starting to go from clear to cloudy with a couple of ambers here and there, hope to chop her down in a week

I got pre 9b bx 2,sour og,deadhead og, tahoe og,larry og,chem valley kush and i want to get some more of their strains but ill see how these do for now...

I got the clone from a friend who had a friend who has the mother, all I know is that it is a Bubba Kush Pre 98, I also got the Sour OG seed from him as well and they told me it was from CC. I chopped her about 2 days early, I needed the space but I'm hoping to get a new one soon
