Alright just found out that out of 4 of my nice size plants is a male, but the other half is female! So I am thinking about cutting the half that is male out and just leaving the other half in...

thoughts and suggestions would be great!

thanks.

i think I am going to do that, I dont really want to risk my whole crop do to one plant..thank you for your suggestion, it was lights off during 12/12 so I didnt want to disturb them so I will probably do that tonight once they turn back on a.s.a.p

ahaha ....NO! stop spreading bullshit.

A hermie will not turn other plants hermie, its not like the common cold, when someone gets it everyone around them gets it.

A hermie will rather shed pollen and pollenate the females. This will create 100% feminized seeds, with a high probability of going hermie (or so they say) im doing an experiment to see if i can produce stable females seeds from a stress induced hermie. the 100+ seeds will be done in a week, and i can start experimenting!! :) (enough about me)

Id say cut the hermie down if your looking for smoke, it will pollenate all your true females, creating seeds, and losing 'bud"

Alright but I took a look today and I am having serious trouble deciding if it is a hermie or not, the buds all have the white hairs and shit. There are some small balls, but they are not all bunched up and dont look like bananas or anything and also have white hairs coming from them, or kind orangeish, should I just let it grow?

I guess I need more help on distinguishing between a hermie and a male and a female...

these sacks have one hair popping out, I think its a male or a femal, but the plany already has bud forming on it.

I dont know what todo. My other three have the 2 white pistils that were forming in pre flowering that showed me that it was a female, but this plant I am unsure about, I looked all over and was very careful to not pop the sack like things.

I guess since it has sacks and they look like sacks I should just cut it down to be safe? because none of my other plants have the sacks with just the one hair popping out.

Females have catylists (idk how to spell) with white pistals comeing out.
Males have balls that pop out in numbers most of the time, when they flower looks like bananas =D
Hermi is a plant with both pistals and balls

upload pics, don't just cut it.
hairs should not be coming out of the pollen sacks, even if it's a hermie.

if you really don't want to take the chance cut it.

alright cool, I will try to upload some pictures tonight or early in the morning. The sacks are not in numbers, there are just small little sack like things, just like the things pictured above the Wvmade posted. They have one single hair coming out. Or it might not even be a hair, but just a point. They are on each side of a few branches, so thats another reason I thought it to be male or a hermie, i need to know tonight whether to cut or not haha. because my other plants are huge and I don't want to diminish the quality of my crop. But the plant, at all the bud sights have bud forming there, so thats why I thought it was a hermie.

thanks to the people above that provided me with pictures.

Lol have fun with that, hermie's that pollentate straight females are not 100% feminized seeds, LOL. Your going to get alot of males and hermies, I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

You always have the option of using Reverse spray from dutch master. If your plant is a female that developed male parts due to stress, correct the source of stress and spray with reverse and the plant will revert to female.

im pretty sure that it is female because the sacks if male should havebeen opened by now, im in the 6th week of flowering with sativa, so i'm unsure when the sacks should pop open if a male, I would think it would have happened by now

. This will create 100% feminized seeds,

hahaha man you are funny,,, there is no such thing as a seed being forsure a female man.. i my self have bought feminized seeds before and have had males come up in them.. and i know plenty of others who have had the same thing happen,,,, the only way for a for sure female is a clone,, when you buy feminized seeds you may get more females then if you bought regular seeds,, but you can still get males from feminized seeds bro,, hahaha learn more about plants and growing,, maybe go take your hoticulture course,, so you can learn more about plants
